At my meeting this week, some of the people were talking about these bagels that WeightWatchers has. I bought some today at the grocery store, and they are great. Just 2 points for a HUGE bagel. I also saw bread and English muffins on the same shelf. Does anyone know if there are other products that WeightWatchers offers?
Thanks in advance!!! :)

Yes, as a matter of fact we discussed that at our meeting tonight too! They also have snack cakes (chocolate, and carrot cake..which are wonderful if you microwave them for a few seconds), breads and now cereal! I'm so glad that they are offering these in the grocery stores now. Ooops! I forgot to mention ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches are available too! :D

Our leader told us super Walmart has the bagels.
We also learned about new snack crackers that are sold at WW meetings. 2 points per pack - six packs in a box. The cheese ones are AWESOME... taste like cheese nips.

Are these new? The WW bagels I have been buying are 3 points per bagel. 2 points sounds a little better.

I bought the bread today, it's pretty yummy. It's 1pt per slice and is actually pretty harty for small slices. It made a yummy sandwich with some laughing cow cheese, sliced turkey, some lettuce and tomato... it was quite a good sandwich. I got that at Safeway today... now I'm going to look for those tasty sounding bagels.

Well, I just went to check, and my bagels are 2 points, so maybe there are some different kinds or something. Not sure. I got them at Kroger. They are over in the bread section (obviously...hehe), but they had their own little section not on the "Bread Wall," but at a stand alone table. Hope this helps!! Happy hunting! :)

I thought the WW bread was 2 slices for 1 pt. They have wheat bread, white bread, and I saw Italian bread as well. All of these were 2 slices for 1 pt.

If you have "Western Alternative" Bagels in your are they are also 2 pts, with lots of flavors... including cinammon and onion. Also "Nature's Own" Double Fiber Bread is 1pt for 2 slices, and they are full size pieces. YUM! the WW english muffins are GREAT! (BTW )

Cyndie,
I'm not sure how you're calculating points, but most people I know only count the Alternative bagels as 1 point. Just an FYI...

Our leader told us that the bagels used to be 2. Now they are 3, and slightly larger. She said right now both are in the stores until all the 2 point ones have been bought up. In Ohio she said Giant Eagle, Tops and Heinens all carry them.

I wish they would start selling the snack/bars in the grocery stores. I absolutely love them. I get extremely strong cravings for chocolate and they satisfy my cravings for only 2 points. I am a lifetime member and only get to the meetings once a month. I stock up on the bars, but can't afford to buy enough to last an entire month. I do love the chocolate snack cakes. They remind me of a hostell ho ho without the middle icing. Right now the only place I can find the cakes is Super Wal Mart. I found WW bread at Sam's Club in Monroeville.

Catherine - You find Pria's just about anywhere. Walmart, Walgreen's, your local grocery stores, Target... usually in the same vicinity of Slimfast stuff.

Here in Canada we normally can't get these products, or many of the other products availabe in the US. However, because we are going to the US for March break would someone be able to tell me if I can get any WW products in the grocery stores in the Swansea, MA area.
Thanks

Thanks for the tip about the Pria bars. I bought a Kashi bar that on the package looked like a mounds bar. But, as much as I love chocolate and anything similar; after 2 bites, I had to throw it away. It was truly nasty. We belong to Sam's Club here in Monroeville and I have seen and tried the Pria bars previously.

I just found the 2 point ones today at my local Publix here in Peachtree city Georgia. They were alone at the front near the check out and not by the breads. I also found the chocolate snack cakes at my local walmart. Did I understand one of the last posts saying that the 2 point bagels will go away?

Publix had a 2 point bagel in their bakery area that I really thought was tasty. I cannot find the WW ones here they are continuously sold out. I did find some of the cakes, muffins, and bread at WalMart.

The pre-packaged snack stuff keeps me going and makes it so easy to do points!!
I like the Western bagels which are only 1 point, they are small (like a Lender's) but have a good taste and texture. We do not have any of the stores around here that carry them so we order them online. I find the WW bagels to be a little chewy for my tastes. For a chocolate fix, Weight Watchers just came out with Whitman's candy in lots of YUMMY pre-packaged flavors (mint patty, english toffee, pecan caramel, etc) for only 1 point!!!!! They are great and I really like that they are singularly packaged so I will only eat one. I love all the 100 calorie packs, even though they are not WW, because they are just 2 points and perfect for in the car on the way home from work. Pringles just came out with 100 calorie packs also but they have a higher fat content so work out to 3 points (actually it's on the line of 2 and 3 so I count it as 3 but I had a leader before that would tell you to throw out a chip and then count it as 2!) I also LOVE the WW ice creams-my favorites are the peanut butter sundae cones which are 2 points and the chocolate mousse bars for 1 point. I typically eat one every night. I just wish all of it was cheaper but it is worth it. I watch for the sales, especially on the ice cream!
Happy Eating!

I live in CT and I usually find WW breads at Stop and Shop. There is also a Shaw's in Fall River (by Swansea) and I know that Shaw's has WW bagels since I got them at my local Shaw's today.

I just found the WW bagels and English muffins at Stop and Shop. The bagels are 2 points and the muffins 1 point. They are pretty tasty, but the bagel tastes more like bread than a bagel, but it is filling. I also like the Luna bars but they are 4 points, so when I crave something swee, I have a Quaker Oats Chewy Low Fat Chocolate Chunk Granola bar - 2 points. Very filling - I usually have one of these around 3:00 p.m. daily and it keeps me going till dinner time.

Oh... Thank you, Thank you... I enjoy bagels, and do not indulge too often, WW 2 or 3 pt ones will be wonderful! I will stop at walmart today and check it out, I did notice the WW bread, but have my own favorite there. Ok..now if I find them locally, Waterloo, Ia, USA, is there a cream cheese that you recommend as well? What do you put on it to make it extra tastee?

Hi, all -
The WW bagels are great plain, warmed in the microwave, and are only 2 points. I can only get them in WalMart, but keep meaning to ask the manager at Publix to carry them
Publix does carry five different kinds of WW cereal, two of which are only 1 point for 1 cup. The vanilla puffed wheat one is my favorite. Combine it with 1 c. Fat Free Plus milk (from Publix), and you've got a great-tasting, filling and healthy meal--for just 3 points!
WalMart also carries the WW 1 point chocolate cake and carrot cake bars. Even if you lose control and eat the whole box, it's still only 6 points (per box that is). LOL!

Hi Berlinda!
I live in Columbia, MO (you can kinda see my Mizzou T in the pic above) and I know that here and in Washington, MO (where my parents live- near St. Louis) Schnucks is the only place to get a lot of the WW products. Every Schnucks in MO I've been to has had most of the WW products I've looked for. Hope this helps!

MaggieMay, no these are actual WW blueberry bagels 3 points three to a box in the bread section of super walmart. I can't go near the bakery or I'll succome to stinking thinking. These muffins are a good snack, I take them to the movies with my lite popcorn and I'm good to go for the snack dept. ;)

I just bought a loaf of the wheat bread and it's 1 pt. for 2 slices.

Hi Ginaki!
I'm new here and would like to join in! I've recently purchased 4 boxes of Luna bars, and according to my slide, there are 3 points. I have the Lemon, Choc Mint, Toasted Nut/Cranberry, and Caramel. Have I calculated incorrectly?
The Quaker Oats bars are good, but they just don't fill you up the way the Luna ones do....love the extra protein in my snacks!
Back to topic, I don't really like the WW Bagels too much. I'm used to the real NY bagels, and would rather take out the insides of one of those for a 3=point treat now and then. The WW whole wheat bread is fabulous, and my husband has no idea that I serve it to him all the time! LOL
Good luck to everyone!

All of the WW goodies are at our Super Walmart also, but our local grocery store has started selling the breads and Icecreams now! Have you tried the WW Rye bread? It just showed up on the shelves one day. It is like a deli rye. Good stuff! Our bagels are still 2 points so far!
I can't ever find the bread, bagels or english muffins in the Tampa Fl area.... I have seen the tags on the shelf though, so I guess they are always sold out. I guess I need to start going to Wal Mart at 3 a.m. when they are stocking. Maybe then I'd have a chance to get them! I am eating Thomas Bagels. They are the minis though. Only 2 points, but I would rather have a larger bagel and get more bang for my buck. I am going to try to find the western bagels here.. I've had them before and they are great. Now I just have to figure out who sells them around here!
As for the WW snack items (ice cream, chocolate bars, carrot cake bars) they are all RED LIGHT foods for me... I will eat the whole box in one sitting :( I wish I could have them around, but I know I'll just eat em!

Just passing through here and thought I'd offer this suggestion to those who can't find WW products.
Alot of times the stores offer "their" brand of "light" products. I know for a fact that Stop N Shop does, and they are less expensive than WW Products. I've had the Stop N Shop Light English Muffins (1 pt) and their Light WW Bread (2 slices for 1 pt) Light Rye Bread and Bagles (3pts I think) and the stuff is good!! They also offer light hamburger and hot dog buns. Another brand is Country Kitchen. I know that brand is carried in Stop N Shop and unfortunately I've not see their stuff anywhere else.
But check out the store brands. You'll be surprised what you find espcially if the "Light" named brands are selling. Competition is a good thing sometimes! :p

We have an Entenmann's outlet store nearby...I usually eat Brownberry's Health nut bread yum! - but I will stock up on the WW bagels and English muffins (cheap!)...at the very beginning, I couldn't get past the sawdust-like taste in my mouth after I ate them, but some days that 1-pt. draw is just too great LOL! Plus, they freeze really well!

I just bought Trader Joe's Low Carb Wheat Bagels today. They don't taste like you're eating air and they are only 1 pt. apiece. They only have 100 calories apiece and like 9 grams of Fiber. I think only 0.5 grams of fat. Best 1 pt. bagel I've tasted yet.

Hi I bought the WW carrot cake, chocolate and blueberry muffin. I thought they were good, but I am going to try them microwaved. I didn't care to much for the frosting but maybe warm it tastes better.
I love Andrew's bread the carb counting multigrain is 1 point for 2 slices. WW also sells the vanilla chais snacks. They are really good!!!. It satisfies that sweet tooth. 2 points. I tried the WW bagels I wasn't too crazy about them. Also Thomas English Muffin has a new multigrain lite muffin, it is delicious 1 pt.:buddysmoo

WW Products I've Tried
Cereal: I've only had the vanilla puffed wheat - Honestly, I'd rather eat the cardboard box it came in. There's two other varieties I havent tried.
Bagels/English Muffins: The bagels I did not like, the english muffins I did. One of my local grocery store carries light english muffins and they are just as good...same points but so much cheaper.
Bread: Very good...same as english muffins...the store brand light bread is MUCH cheaper
Cakes: Chocolate & Carrot Cake are very good
Muffins: Blueberry is great...chocolate/chocolate chip is even better!!! They're so moist!
Smoothies: Pretty good...mix with skim milk and ice...I have vanilla capuccino ones
Ice Cream: The IC sandwiches are good but they freezer burn quickly...not the best packaging. The ice cream cones (similar to nutty buddy) are FANTASTIC! They even have the sugar cone with the bit of chocolate in the very bottom!!!
As far as the 2 point cheese crackers someone mentioned: ALL of the Nabisco 100 calorie packs should work out to be 2 points, and they're all good. Now, Keebler is making some too...Right Bites...same thing...100 calories per bag and the chocolate chip cookies are WONDERFUL!

I'll have to give them a try, I've been eating regular bagels with cream cheese at 8 pts apiece. Its the quarter Jewish in me trying to assert itself. This would be worth the cost and them some. Besides I have to pay 1$ per reg bagel at work.

Trader Joe's has mini bagels, they are 1.6 points, but taste just like a real NY bagel! Plus you get 10 of them for $1.99 :)
I toast one, and put a Trader Joe's Veggie Sausage Pattie on it (those sell for $1.79 as compared to $3 or more for Boca/Morningstar).
I am a bootcamper on a budget...a double challenge!
Breakfast: 4.4 points
1.6: Bagles - Trader Joes WW mini
1.3: Sausage - Breakfast Trader Joes 70cal-4Fat-2Fib per Pattie
1.5: Apples: fresh/medium 6oz
I have the above with Black coffee and some water and find it satisfying :)
While WW has a great number of foods and they are very tasty, they are $$$, I sugest you buy them, then compare them to other brands (Trader Joe's and other places have some great deals on some low point foods).

I just ran into WW candy packages (Made by Whitman's) , like candy bars, I bought 3 packs, I purchased Coconut Dreams, Mint Patties, and English Toffee Squares. Each piece and there are two in package, is 1 pt.
I have been avoiding all the candy, etc this week while I am really trying to loose. So I thought that if I feel a need this might take off the edge. Sometimes I just need a little chocolate. But this might just be the Key this new year...

I know what you mean about the chocolate!! WOW it's been hard to resist it. I'll share my security net with you.... Fat Free cool whip with Sugar free pudding made with skim milk. I was afraid to try it until one of my friends who is also on WW brought some to me... I didn't even know it was FF or SF. She had mixed the pudding and then set it... after about 10 minutes she mixes the whole batch of pudding with about a half a cup of cool whip and then lets it set again in 4 individual servings. YUMMY!!!! It's a SF FF deLIGHT!!
I'm curious to know if the WW candy slows your weight loss down at all or if you don't even notice a difference in WI.
Are you on Flex or Core? Just curious.:)

If you can't find the WW bagels, try looking at some "carb select" versions. I found some (at Wal-Mart I think) and they are pretty good. They have some obxinous about of fiber (like 8g I think) and only 100 calories. The other think I liked (other than the fact they are only 1 pt) is they are portionally correct. They look small, but I judge that against everying that is portioned correctly looks small :). I find they are great with a couple of egg whites and a piece of cheese for a lite, low point breakfast (won't last all day, but gives a good start).

I live in an area with terrific bagels so I do not much like WW's( although I eat them sometimes.)
What I am trying to do is learn portion control for real life eating. 1/2 a great local bagel is 3 pts, so I am trying to learn to be satisfied with that when I have a Bagel craving. The 1 point English muffins are pretty good but those snake cakes are terrific ( Wal mart also had Lemon cakes last I looked) the Smart choice deserts are terrific. I have not had one I did not like yet

WW Ice cream sandwhiches are fantastic. But if you look under many nutrition charts, ww points are already listed, although its not weight watchers brand. Look on any Bryers ice cream product. Tropicana too. You'll be surprised.

I have a question i'm hoping some one can help me with. I know they sell more WW stuff at the meetings then they do in the store. I am doing this at home and got the at home kit. Can I still go to the meetings just to purchase some stuff  or do i have to pay to join the meeting

I think it depends on the meeting. I've gone into different meeting sites to buy stuff and some ask me if I'm a member and some don't. I don't know the official policy, but it can't hurt to ask.

P.s. i loveeee the carrot cakes, and i found this ice cream that is 1 pt for a half cup... its called heart smart by bryers i think

Where can I find the ww smoothies, the just two points bars, the mini bars, cheddar twists, and the caramel drops? Does any one know

Hi Nicole, the just two points bars, the mini bars, cheddar twists are only available at meetings. There are smoothie mixes that are only available in meetings and new refrigerated smoothies that are supposed to be in grocery stores, but I haven't seen them here yet. The candy I've seen in grocery stores and walmart and target. HTH

I had become so dependent on WW bagels, but my Stop n' Shop stopped carrying them a couple weeks ago. I'm very upset!

If there's a Super WalMart near you (there is one in Robinson, I think, and I am not sure where else, we have one in Butler) they have a LOT of WW products. I haven't seen the cereal yet but I also haven't looked...but I've found the bagels, the english muffins, and the ice cream products, plus the Whitman's chocolates..

I bought WW bagels last night at Stop and Shop after reading this post. They were on sale for $2.50 and I was tempted to get 2 bags and freeze one but decided to give them a try. I have to say they were pretty good and for 2 points as it said on the bag, it was very filling. I actually had one after working out with light cream cheese. This morning half a bagel was enough to fill me up so with light cream cheese that made for a great 2 point breakfast with my cup of black coffee:jump_jack
I tried the WW English muffins and they were good. But I also tried the Stop and Shop light variety and they are still a point and only go for $1.49. It does have less dietary fiber than the WW brand but its not a huge difference and you still get the same 1 point.

I love these bagels too... Yum.. I used to eat bagels for work all the time and knowing that i can have these for only 2pts. These babies will definately help me get to goal. Anyway for those of you having trouble finding them i actually found someone selling them on ebay kinda funny but if you desparete to try them it doesn't hurt.

I haven't been able to find these bagels, but I did find some whole wheat Sara Lee bagels for 2 points each and they have 7 grams of fiber. They are so good. Very soft. I toast mine up with cream cheese and ff turkey. Yummy! :)

I haven't tried the WW bagels, but the English Muffins are great toasted with couple slices of canadian bacon and ff cheese slices.
Since I am on CORE I don't know how many points this is but if I need a real sweet fix, I put 1/3 cup plain oatmeal, 1 pkt. Nestle's ff/sf hot cocoa (with calcium), 1 splenda pkt, and 2/3 cup of water in a bowl and microwave it for a little over minute and a half. Stir and wait couple minutes. Kind of like a no bake cookie and no extra points if CORE. Sometimes have for breakfast and sometimes in evening. Gets me through. I tried the WW chocolate muffins and the chocolate cakes, but red light for me. Small cakes makes me want more than 1.

are these in the isle with regular snack cakes or the ww isle? we have a large section at the end of our bread isle that has all sorts of ww & other yummy low points items. thanks :)

Here in Canada we normally can't get these products, or many of the other products availabe in the US. However, because we are going to the US for March break would someone be able to tell me if I can get any WW products in the grocery stores in the Swansea, MA area.
Thanks
I was just recently up in Canada.. Deep River Ontario and found weight watchers candy in a giant tiger. They had many varieties too.

I just discovered yet another alternative to the WW bagel. It is by Thomas' and is called light bagel. Very tasty and a tad bit larger in diameter than the WW one. Although you can only count up to 4g of fiber, they are loaded w/ 14 g. And added bonus - lolol I've only seen plain, as of yet. But that is all I've seen for the WW brand, as well. Oh, they are also less expensive and more satisfying. Also, Thomas' light english muffins are delish. They are 1 pt. for the entire muffin. The WW bread is 1 pt. for 2 slices. On the thin side, but not bad
I usually try to comparison shop w/ store brands, but haven't really found any that low in pts. for 2 slices.
Happy Shopping :buddysmoo

For anyone in the midwest, Dierbergs carries everything mentioned here by weight watchers. I went to check today, and the bagels are all 2pt bagels. Also expensive there, but I figure I would have bought an expensive snack before anyway :)

You guys make me wanna run right out and get groceries :jump_jack I can't wait to look for all this stuff in the store. I just recommited 2 weeks ago and this site keeps me very excited to make this a life long commitment this time:D For my chocolate fix, I love the oreo 100 cal packs, they are 2 pts and DELISH!!! Also another thing that is good, even though it is a red flag food for me is Kudos bars, some are 2pts some are 3, they have p-butter, m&ms, snickers, mmmmm but I can't be trusted with them . As for the bagels, I can't wait to try them, 2 or 3pts don't matter to me because I spend 6 on Thomas's. Seems like alot but it was definately worth it to me, they are huge and keep me full for a long time. But always looking forward to cutting pts where I can!! Thanks a bunch

The flavors are strawberry, strawberry/banana, blueberry, raspberry, kiwi pie, and lemon chifon pie, and peach. I like them all but the peach. It taste too much like yogurt (lol) I think my favorite is kiwi, and raspberry.:jump_jack Anita

hello dieters, please try Walden Farms Calorie Free chocolate dipping sauce for all you chocoholics like me. I dip strawberries in it and it does the trick. Tastes just as good as the real thing.

Hello there,
I am Canadian and always cross over to either Massena New York or to Ogdensburg and the products i've found are truly great.
I have found frozen diners, deserts by the plenty and they also have different breads including this wonderful Rye bread 1 point per two slice. and they also have cereal.
I usually find these products @ Price Choppers, Hannafords and the Walmart Superstore also carries quite a bit.
Take a look next time you are in one of these places. there may be some other stores that carry these products in your area i'm not sure.
