For those that walk as their excercise, what do you do during the cold days of fall and winter? I walk to and from work every day. When the winter comes, i will still be walking to and from because i don't drive. But if you have the option of walking in the cold or doing something else i would love to hear about it. I might get to do the other things you suggest.
Happy posting,
Alicia

I have several video tapes, Walk Away The Pounds, Richard Slimmions, and some yoga tapes I bought at the book store. If you don't want to spend the money on tapes, if you can tape them from you T.V. that would work too. Look in your TV guide during the morning hours and you will find several workout channels (if you have cable) and just tape them then you will have a good supply in no time. The other thing I do is just march in place in front of the TV when I am watching the news....or when I watch Oprah or something like that, I get off my "duff" and march in place during the commercials. That is a 15 minute workout each hour!!! :).

It doesn't really get too cold to walk where I live, but I plan on doing my "Dance Dance Revolution" video game as soon as I figure out how to hook up my Sony Playstation. I know a lady who lost a lot of weight playing the game in the arcade but I don't have the guts for public humiliation at this point. :)

at the recommendation of a friend, i just got the bodyflex plus system (i bought it on ebay). i am having great fun and success with it. i live in a small apartment so, although i considered a piece of equipment (one of my girlfriends love's tony little's gazelle) , i decided against it for the time being. let me know what you find. i'm considering a walking video.
