Just wondering if there were any FlyBabies (see www.flylady.net (http://www.flylady.net)) on this board. I only wonder because here and there remind me of each other with the no whining, no excuses attitude. I've often wished there was "Bootcamp for FlyBabies"! lol!!
Anyway, that's all. I feel silly for even asking, but my curiosity got the best of me. :embarrass

Yep, I'm flying here!
And I have thought the same thing about the no whining philosophy. :bcbsalute

:) I've been a flybaby for almost a year! I am flapping and flopping along and enjoying living a more peaceful and happy life (sometimes.) I can't begin to count the changes I've made this last year!! I love the system!
HUGS to fellow Flybabies!

It's been a great big help to me.
There have been SO many changes around our house, I can't believe it.
What I notice, too, is that I can follow WW better, because my home is more organize, less cluttered, and so on.

I sort of follow a "modified" version of flylady. Maybe I should be Bee Lady :D
I have her book, and I use elements of her system every day. It really does free up your time for the important things.

I LOVE the flylady...I was groovin' with her for several months this year, and then fell off the wagon. My DH has been asking me what happened to her. I am slowly begining to implement some of the routines I had before - I think I just tried to do too much the first time. (Against the flylady's advice, of course.)
Anyways, I've often thought there were corrolations btwn. Flylady and BB as well.
Good luck to all!

I think you are right about some similarities between BCB and Flylady. I love the STRUCTURE of each. Thanks for the flylady reminder ... with so much travel I have forgotten about flylady soooooo I must be a FLYBABY stuck on FLY PAPER .... need to get moving with that, too.
Think I will do the old evening routine I had established before bedtime which included finishing up my food journal with a few good notes on the day and planning for tomorrow's menu and activity.
:workout: ME getting off that flypaper ..... byebye

I'm a Flybaby here too. I have really been struggling with that. I just can't seem to not want it all done at once, then usually "crash and burn". Kinda like my weight loss journey. I get irritated when I lose .2 or .4 pounds one week, b/c it doesn't fit into my rigid little schedule I have set in stone for myself... I have a lot of growing up to do, both with my home clutter and my body clutter. I do (for the most part) live the system though, both WW and FlyLady's, and I am doing better than I was a year or two or even especially 5 years ago. I have been a member of FlyLady's group for probably 4 years... from way back when it was pretty small. Only in WW since May of this year. WW has really helped me in that I actually physically FEEL better to get the jobs done at home more often. I am not completely pooped when I walk in the door at night and I have no "excuse" not to do my evening routines most of the time. I'm really glad there are other FlyBabies here in BCB. This is great.

Fly Baby here as well. I have been using her system for a little over a year now and it's pretty amazing. Slowly but surely those routines have been established and I am pretty much just "tweeking" everything right now - making it work better for me. Love the way it works!

I looked at flybaby's for the first time today and I thought what an excellent resource for the cluttered home I live in (not to mention the cluttered life!). I spent some time going through it this afternoon and want to take the time to really explore and decide where I'm going to start.
I've discovered planning works with WW, and I guess it will with everything else (almost - lol).

I joined last week and now I'm trying to start a local group in the SF Bay area. I hate Yahoo groups, so I've opened the first FLYlady Group at google groups. There's no banner ads or popups and everything posts to it like a message board. Anyone want to join me? My sink has been shiny for 8 days in a row now and I am a new woman! I love flylady and now just need to get off the computer long enough to actually do it! lol

I have been a flybaby for about 4 years now. I go up and down with the system. I know I hold myself back by procrastinating. I still don't have routines that I do regularly although I always want to. I have to say that I have a no-clutter persona now. I get rid of everything and love it. I am glad that flylady has changed that part of me. I enjoy listening to the mom show with her segments each week.

I'm in the same boat! I sort of slipped and now I'm trying to get everything back together. It is slow going, but I'm getting there. My dh likes to ask, "Where is the FlyLady?"

Another Flybaby here. Flopping away! Slowly but surely decluttering the house and getting into routines. But I don't always wear my shoes! :o

Another FlyBaby here. I am actually new to both WW and FlyLady. After getting married and moving across the country I could use all the help I can get :help: ! Why not learn it all at once?! It seems to be working so far... all of the sink shining is keeping me from lying on the couch with a bag of cheetos anyway :D.
