I picked up a container of these little darlins while doing my groceries, after ascertaining that the only ingredients were chickpeas and sea salt. (Which makes them CORE!!!) I didn't know if they'd be any good, and was actually concerned about their potential effect on my dental work.
To my delight, I found that this is like eating peanuts, except without the triggering quality. Y'all know what I mean. So, if your grocery store doesn't have them, take a drained can of chickpeas, season to your liking - chili powder or Cajun spice would be great! - and roast at 350 degrees, rattling them around every 15 minutes, till done. I would say that they would be 1/4 larger than their uncooked state - maybe an hour to and hour and a half would do it? Bite one and see.
