Does anyone know of a good source of knowledge about what supplements I should be taking, and in what combination? I've searched the web, but I need a HUMAN :D to tell me that what I'm taking is what I need to be taking, and to give me suggestions about what to try. My main issues are menopause, depression, arthritis, sleep problems, & fluid retention.

Is there someone/a company that I can correspond with by phone or email about my particiular situation, so that i can tell them what my symptoms are, what I'm already taking, & they can give me advice/direction, even if there's a fee involved?

Anybody know of a source?

Thanks a bunch, buddies!!

I have an acquaintance who is a "naturopath" and does the sort of thing you are looking for, don't know where you would fall on accepting of alternative health care practices. I know he does some sort of blood analysis on which he bases his recommendations.

Perhaps you could seek out someone like that in your area... if you can't find it in the phone book, maybe a chiropractor would be able to give you a lead...

Katie,
check out this site:
http://www.dietitians.ca/english/index.html
Its a canadian site, but has tons of nutrition/vitamin/supplement info. Explore it thoroughly, there is a ton of info there! Also, you may try to find a dietician or nutritionist in your area to consult. They will look at your diet, and tell you what you are missing vitamin/mineral wise and how to supplement accordingly. They are also trained to treat many ailments using food/supplementation. Hope this helps!!

Have you heard of Shaklee? They have a website http://www.shaklee.net
I know someone who called a distributer and they took her profile and put together a knowledeble supplement program. She was very happy with the results. Although, a dietician is probably a good choice.
Good Luck.
