I've just started reading about the glycemic index and sticking to foods lower on the index. Can anyone recommend a good book that lists the glycemic indexes of foods, and should you only eat foods below a certain number on that index?
I avoid white flour, sugars, etc, and stick to whole grains, but I am really interested in learning more about the GI.
Thanks very much!

Rick Mendosa seems to have the most comprehensive site out there on the 'net that I've seen: http://diabetes.about.com/library/mendosagi/ngilists.htm
I don't know about any books..maybe some other buddies may give you some good leads! :bcbsalute
