Hi all-
Just a quick note to let you know I finally reached goal and with just 2 days to spare before I leave for Mexico! I know that while I'm away I won't be thinking about WW or points (all inclusive resort), but I'm so glad I stuck to the plan and was able to take off those pesky 5 lbs. I wanted too.

I'm seriously thinking about trying the core plan when I return. I know I'll probably be up at least the 5 lbs. I lost, and my girlfriend at work tried it all last week and loves the new plan. She went to weigh in yesterday and lost 2 lbs. without ever feeling hungry or unsatisfied. I'm not sure it's the right plan for me, but I'm willing to try it.

I wanted to thank all of you for your support and suggestions while trying to reach my goal. The info you gave was really helpful, I hadn't been eating enough points to trigger a loss and I also found that eating afternoon snacks and varying my daily point intake helped tremendously.

I couldn't have done it without all of you. Best of luck to all of you as you take off those few remaining pounds, you will get there! I'll check back in after I return from vacation... I'm sure I'll need some additional motivation to get back OP and a week of indulging!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your support and congrat's... like I said, I think I'll need more of it when I get back and back OP... but for 7 days and 7 nights, I'm going to take full advantage of that "all inclusive."

Best of luck to all of you in reaching your personal goals! -Julez

Hi, Julez -- I just wanted to follow up with you to see how you did on your trip and staying on goal, getting to lifetime etc. I should probably search for other posts... hope you are well! -- Suz.

Hi again-
Sorry for the long break... Mexico was great and when I returned, I decided to take a break from the dieting scene through the holiday's. I had experienced such a tough time with the months leading up to my trip, I was feeling like mentally I needed a break. Well, as I'm sure you can imagine, these "breaks" don't come without their price. In the 4 months since Mexico, I've packed on 10 pounds. So here I am, back at it again and I'm experiencing the same frustrations and disappointments as before.

I feel like I'm doing all the right things, but yet I just haven't seen the steady loss I usually would. I ponder if it's I'm older and my metabolism has changed. Maybe it's the new BC pill I started 6 months ago... or, it seems that when I try to eat low point days (just like before), my body won't trigger a loss. I try to balance all these things in my mind, but I have a hard time accepting that I'm not loosing weight because I'm not eating enough (just doesn't compute!)

In any event, I'm sticking with it because not only do I want to shed the pounds, I want to gain back some control and eat heathier. I keep trying to tell myself it's a "journay" to better living... not just about fitting in to those smaller size jeans :)

I hope all of you are hanging in there and keeping on track. Together we can do it! Thanks for thinking of me and checking in. -Julez :)
