I spent two months in Costa Rica last summer I LOVED it! There were rainforets, dry forests, cloud forests,active volcanoes, wildlife, bannana plantations, coffee plantations, beaches, surfing, national parks, TONS of things to see and do!

I am actually applying to the Peace Corps, in hopes of going back to S America. smile.gif

An Affordable way to travel, is to go through a school, you can stay at a host families house,or a school sponsored house (think safe and cheap) A lot of host families will let you and a friend stay together.

A pal and I are thinking about going to South America next year. Kind of tenatively thinking about Argentina, Chile, Brazil, but not really sure.
