I had reprinted an email here that was sent to me about Ovarian Cancer and it's detection. Thanks to Friskie, she pointed out that this email is a Hoax that has been going around since 1998. I have deleted the message so as not to cause any undue alarm to women and not perpetuate the hoax.

I've seen this before and have to defer to those that spend the time and resources to weed through the internet hoaxes and myths. According to Snopes.com and Urban Legends, this isn't true.

Here are links to what they have to say about it. I don't mean to be disrepectful in any way bringing this up, just didn't want you all to go running to your doctor demanding this test when evidence points to it being a hoax, it's been around the internet quite a long time.
