Good Morning Everyone,
Just hopped on here to see how everyone is doing. I quit this past Thursday night and I can't wait to hit the 72 hour milestone.

If any needs a boost of conviction on why we've quit...visit Clara's recommended website....
www.quitsmoking.com (http://www.quitsmoking.com) and www.whyquit.com (http://www.whyquit.com)
My quit date wasn't for a week, I visited those sites and couldn't light another cigarette and was done that night. (smoked 1.5-2 packs a day for 20 years.)

Thanks so much Clara--you'll never know how much you helped!

2 days 9 hours 8 min. 71 not smoked 5h55 min gained!!

I know we all have the strength for this!

Hugs to everyone!
Michelle

Michelle-
You can do it. The first couple of weeks is the hardest. Then when you've been done a few months, its random 10 second cravings-they strike out of now where, but they're not like a huge nicotine fit-I still get the random cravings about once a month. I used welbuterin to help me, but didn't like how it made me feel, and stopped after taking it for 2 weeks. Just keep taking things one day at a time, and if you get snippy with someone, explain, and they will understand.

Thanks so much for your encouragement Annie. I just started Wellbutrin but it is making me feel almost as if I'm drunk.. ick!
Thank you so much for your advice--Can't wait to get through the first few weeks! All of us BCB'ers ready to kick butts can do this!!

Have a great day
