I'm so excited! graemlins/crazy.gif It looks like I'm finally getting a VitaMix. :D Mom is footing the bill as a birthday gift. smile.gif I won one on auction last night on Ebay. Its a 3600 and I can't wait until it gets here.
Wondering if those with Vitamix experience could share their pointers and/or recipes. I know I'd appreciate them and I'm sure others would too! :D
Thanks!

Hi Karen, Congratulations!!!! How exciting!! I have the 5000, so I'm not familiar with what yours will be like. Are you getting a manual with it?
I have had mine for a little over a year, and I am so in love with it!
While you are waiting for it to arrive, take a look around here. There are previous threads on the VM, and a variety of recipes, some posted by me.
Please post when it arrives!
Hugs,
Dawna

Vitamix is a wonderful machine. I grew up with the 3600. When my mother had to go into assisted living, my sister got hers. I had forgotten how wonderful it was.
I bought my first, a 3600 plus, on ebay too. I used it for awhile then I saw a demo of the newer model. The ultimate consumer, I bought a stand alone 5000 for the kitchen, and then later picked up one of the surface mounted commercial ones used for use in either the bar or an RV. It is sitting downstairs waiting for that decision to be made!
It is so powerful I think my wife is afraid of using it!
I doubt I will ever use the 3600 plus again. I used to use it for milling flour, but don't need that any longer. I think I will try Ebay to see if I can find a new home for it.
Keep blending. The Vitamix is indeed the best!
