* Open recipe.
* Push the heart icon on the right hand side of the MC window.
* Either An Unknown Ingredients window OR the Nutrition per Serving window will open. The Unknown Ingredients window has a list of items that were not found in the Ingredients List. For now you just need to decide whether any of these affect the nutritional value. Cooking spray or freshly ground pepper, for example, wouldn't have an affect and you can still figure points. Don't figure points for any recipe that has unknown items that could affect the nutritional value -- we'll get into how to deal with these in a later lesson. Pushing Cancel will take you back to the recipe, pushing OK will open the Nutrition per Serving window.
* From Nutrition per Serving, use Calories (kcal), Total Fat (g), and Dietary Fiber (g) to figure points. Use cardboard points finder, points calculator, or the following formula, limiting fiber grams to four.
Points = (Cal/50) + (fat g/12) - (fiber g/5)
