(Hey, guys, just filling in for TracyD who can't do this job right now, til someone else is found to take over. If you have any ideas for questions, just send 'em my way, please!)

Since it's Memorial Day weekend, do you go to picnics and reunions with points-friendly foods or with traditional foods, and why? Or do you just not go when invited?

Since this program has to fit into my life, I would never not go, because of my eating plan. I make sure to bring plenty of points friendly foods, and some traditional ones, so I can stay OP and have a good time.

I am bringing my own ff hot dogs, 1 pt buns, deep dish pizza casserole......

I would never turn down a social invitation because of food-o-phobia! So I would bring a veggie tray and Points-friendly dip, some veggie burgers and lite buns or maybe some shrimp brochettes and a nice fruit platter for everyone.

Since we had our picnic here, it was very easy for me.
I just fixed things I could eat and we all enjoyed it.

If I were invited out I would take some rolls and a veggie burger or two.

I am always leery of eating hamburgers made and cooked by someone else anyway.

I use to be somebody that avoided parties of any kind because I was too worried that I would be tempted .. so I would stay home.

Now I know that I can make better choices and not let my WW's lifestyle stop me from socialising or partying etc..... smile.gif

You gotta go!!!

This memorial day my DH bought portabellas to grill, so I could have 2 and feel like a really ate something substantial.

I, now, always bring along my Orange Fluff (aka Dreamsicle Pudding). It is always a hit and (when I feel like telling my little secret ;) they are always surprised to know it is very low in fat and calories!

I take traditionals with a twist. Point friendly versions of all time fav's! And you'd be surprised how no one notices!
