The most important meal of the day (or so it is said.)
What do you like to get your (OP) day going? Does it change with the seasons/temperature?

It changes for me, mostly based on boredom and time, or when I want to mix it up.
During the week, lately it's been lowfat yogurt with grapenuts (probably an even mix of the two, not just sprinkled on top). But some days it's a WW bar or some string cheese when I'm in a rush. I usually get green tea in the mornings from Starbucks too, no milk or sugar.
Weekends are often eggs, bacon and toast, or perhaps french toast or half an omelette. On weekends we often eat out so mostly I just really watch portions. On weekends I don't usually have lunch at all...just a big breakfast, a 1-2 point afternoon snack and then a big dinner. Works out well for me. I only use Flex on weekends, so it's nice to be able to have a yummy, higher points breakfast and just feel full on that all day. smile.gif

My latest favorite is Kashi with milk and a banana sliced on top. I eat it 6 mornings a week! The protein in the Kashi usually keeps me going until lunch.

Have a good one,

Breakfast is my favorite meal. I usually have a hot breakfast, oatmeal, or poached eggs and toast. I get up very early so I have leisure time before work. That way my day does not get stressed. Try it...it works! smile.gif

My breakfasts are so boring a predictable. On my work days, Mon. through Friday, I mix Kashi Go Lean crunch with fiber one and milk. On the weekends before I go for my long runs, I have 2 slices of high fiber toast with a tbsp of peanut butter and a banana. If I'm in a daring mood, I'll put the peanut butter in a sprouted grain tortilla and roll the banana up inside of it. :D

I love a banana smoothy. It's filling and low GI so I don't feel hungry til later in the day.
I make it with one medium banana, 1 1/2 cups skim milk and some honey. DELISH ! :D
I also love hot porridge in winter(which I am just approaching now) and I don't mind toast and vegemite either for a traditional Aussie breakfast hehehehe ;)

I love breakfast. It's my fav meal of the day. I do have to say though that I change it up during the season. Right now I am eating lots of fruit and yogurt. Sometimes cereal. I stick more with eggs, oatmeal and the like during the colder weather. If I'm in a hurry I usually grab a Puffins breakfast bar. :D

Cereal, milk and fruit. It is the same thing every morning all year round - unless it is Mother's Day. Then it is burnt toast, big smiles and lots of kisses :D

I tend to stick with the same breakfasts. I was having ff yogurt with all bran mixed in for the longest time. Lately I have switched to Nutrition for Women oatmeal and a piece of fruit. On the weekend I may mix up a bit and spend a few more points on toast and a egg.
