What do you think of the "look" of the site?

I'm one of those a little reluctant to embrace change, but the more I look at it and poke around, the more I like it! smile.gif

I find it very irritating because I have to go thru that re-registration thing every day. It also looks very gray to me...not as "cheery" as it was.

I do, also appreciate all the effort that goes into the boards.

It does seem more dreary.

I couldn't figure out what it was. It's cleaner & neater, but, yes, dreary is the word! We'll get used to it. However, I've noticed that when people type a web page using words instead of an url (by using the url html function in their posts), the url isn't highlighted at all & you can't always tell that it's to be clicked on. For instance, I think someone put "Applebees" as a clickable url, but it wasn't highlighted in any way, so many people, myself included, thought the poster had forgotten the url she was talking about.

I couldn't remember if it was in the blue colored post or white, if that makes a difference.

Today this site has alot more pizzazz! On my earlier post on this subject..I said it looked dreary. Well, not any more! It has personality now...and looks great. I am sending off my donation to Denise to keep this site running. Hope more of the members do the same.

When I click on the BCB message board link I am always getting an error.
Instead I have to scroll all the way to the bottom and click on the harder to find sublink.
Nice slick look, like to see the topics to the left, but wish they would link directly back to the board rather than the home page.

I think the board is awesome and have tried to let Denise know that she definitely deserves kudos for such a good job.

Denise, you can't please everyone, but I'm certain that the majority appreciate your efforts and in addition to what you hear about that which needs to be fixed, I hope that you get loads of compliments on what you have done.

I most certainly appreciate all the work that went into creating this new board and applaud Denise for all her effort. I know that I don't have the guts to do that much! Once I figure it out, I will probably like it more than the old board (I still hadn't completely figured that one out yet, either!) Great job and take a well deserved break.

I love the look, I just can't get on the leader forum. I did day before yesterday but I am unable to access.

I have only just arrived here to the new board...away for a couple days. I do like the looks of it, but having a hard time figuring some things out. What do some of the new icons mean? The ones by threads and posts, etc....How do you tell if something new was added to a thread since the last time you visited? I have other questions, but I'll figure it out as time goes by. I think I need a course in HTML tho....;)

Anyway, overall - I love it! You did a wonderful job! Thanks for your hard work!

I am still getting around and looking at all the new changes.
My first impression was how "formal" it all seemed and it is not as bright and inviting in looks but looks can be deceiving ;)

I am really enjoying the changes.

I am still extremely thankful there is such a fantastic site as Bootcamp Buddies to come to every day and help me through my journey. :)
