Not sure yet, as this will be my first summer in the Midwest, but I loved summer in the Pacific Northwest. It only got too hot for about a week during the summer, and then perfect the rest of the time.

The difference this year (aside living in a new part of the country) will be to get outside more and enjoy the out-doors. My favorite season, however, is fall.

Love summer! Hate bathing suits! I've been in the NW all my life (Indiana), so Sassyduck you may be in for a surprise, lol.

It gets HOT. Not Vegas in July hot, but it can be scorching. I find that 80 percent of the time though it is beautiful. I love being out in the late evening. Our neighborhood, which seems to go into hibernation in the winter, really comes alive and we are a very social group. I love the small town fairs and carnivals. It's an all around great time of year. And wisconsin is so beautiful! I think you'll really like it. And since your a little farther up north, it may not be quite so hot as it is here.

LOVE IT. This year I am not pregnant...at a lower weight then years past. Looking forward to getting out to walk...I hope it gets here fast. It is pretty chilly up here.

Love it. Between the long days, bike riding weather, fresh produce, and just a more relaxed scedule I'm a fan of summer. (Then again, I find things I love about all the seasons.)

I love it, with the exception of the thunder storms.

I love getting out early in the morning and doing a walk. There is one walk I do here with quite a lot of shade trees and I love it, and watching the squirrels playing everywhere along the way.

I'm thinner than last summer, but I've been struggling so I'm hoping I'll perk up with the nice weather.

I love that the days are longer too and it stays light longer in the evening.

I love working in the yard and garden too.

I love the lower heat bill too. ;)

I love it as long as it isn't too hot and humid.

It's a love/hate type thing with me. It can get very hot here in the south because of the humidity. You want to spend alot of time indoors where it's cool. Maybe since I've lost some weight, it might not be as bad. Bet

Summer starts early here in Arizona! I like summer here well enough, but the heat just smacks you in the face everytime, like when you open the oven door! I like the quiet in the morning and even though it is already hot out, it's much better than it's going to be! I miss the jersey shore this time of year. But hey, I mived here - I gotta deal!

Love it!! I live in Wisconsin and it is a real challenge for me to get the motivation to exercise indoors... So summer is wonderful.. I love to golf and take walks in our State Forests.. Sharon

I used to absolutely hate summer! Nothing worse than wearing shorts -- makes the whole thigh rubbing thing ten times worse. I hated summer clothes - always wanted to hide away in sweatshirts and long pants. I despised the heat. I despised the activities everyone else seemed so eager to participate in while all I wanted to do was hang in the air conditioning. NOW, let me tell ya - I cannot wait for it to get here!!! Sweating has taken on a whole new healthy meaning for me, now that I fit into a size 8 I can actually wear all those cute outfits and lo and behold my thighs really aren't attached to each other, the heat no longer effects me half as bad as it used to, and now that my energy level is where it should be, I can't wait to hit the beaches, parks, ball fields, etc... Thanks a bunch for the topic Tracy -- really good reminders for me!!!

I HATE the humidity but I LOVE the fact that I have summers off. :D

I love summer, but there never seems to be enough time. And right now the pool liner is ripped and can't get anyone to replace it. Also like being able to go out in shorts this year!
