How did you come up with your BCB signature line? What does it mean to you? and lets add another part while we're at it: What other buddies signature lines have you noticed on the boards that left a major impact on you?

Good Morning Tracy,
I'm going to have to post this then go back and scan the Bootcamp and find the signature lines that make me smile. I have a case of bad memory.
My signature is one that my first WW leader started saying when I was about in the middle of my journey. As the months and pounds went it started meaning more and more to me. While in losing it helped me alot. In 10 days I will celebrate 5 years as a WW being at goal for 3 years 5 months.

I found my signiture on the web when there was a topic going on about needing motivation, and I did a search to find something that would fit the topic. Added it to my sig line, and it's been there ever since, as I think it fits! ;)

Well, the quote is just one I ran across that appealed to me.
My weight goals and current weight are there to let others know about my progress and to keep me acccountable.

I have 3 quotes in my sig line and they all mean a lot to me.
The first (I'm not on a diet) is something I say a lot - especially when people raise their eyebrows at something on my plate (not sure who appointed them food police  )Although I do try to make health choices, there are no foods that are off limits unless I want them to be. I just love that about WW.
The 2nd one (excuses) is sooooooo true! If I really want to lose weight then I will find a way to do it. There are tons of excuses out there (special events, vacations, etc) but we all know that it is possible to get through those things and still have a loss. If I want it bad enough - I CAN do it....
The 3rd one is my favorite Bible verse and something I need constant reminding of. Trusting in the Lord sounds soooo simple, but (for me anyway) it can be sooooo difficult!

I liked mine b/c it seemed sorta melancholy and poetic. I have huge collections of quotes and motivational phrases. This one stuck b/c I can see it in my mind. I don't want to be one of those that failed. I really don't want to be one of those that couldn't decide what to do.
- On the plains of hesitation lie the blackened bone of countless millions, who, at the dawn of victory sat to rest, and in resting died.

I kinda just made mine up....
It reminds me that it is SO worth continuing the WW basics and "counting pts" so I can stay at goal... going on year 4 at goal!!!! Through my 1 1/2 year of wt loss and 4 yrs at goal I have seen COUNTLESS colleagues who have started wt loss programs and even WW but did NOT stick with it and consequently did not succeed... It is so easy to have an excuse but when it comes down to it, it is a CHOICE!
Yes, I struggle still in controlling BLTS etc.... but I know that I NEVER want to go back to where I once was!
