Morning all
As I typed in the date on the gym thread, I realized TODAY is the deadline to have DS register for PSATs... and guess who forgot to call the school yesterday? MAN, i hate it when I do that to myself;it's been pouring all morning, and now DS is prob going to have to walk or ride his bike there to do it, since I can't go til 4pm, and I think that's too late. Sigh. Thankfully DH says the rain is almost done (he was on the weather channel site)
I also forgot to call the dentist yesterday. DS had an appt for today, but I need to switch it to middle DD, since she is going back in the habit breaker next week and needs to have her teeth done first. She had an appt Sat, but we can't make that one... so I have to call them and shuffle the appts all around.
Said DD won't stop sucking her thumb. She's almost 11, and sucks it about 90% of the time, literally. EVERY time I look at her it's in. and it's messed up her speech, not to mention her teeth. Her mouth actually looks disgusting to me, it's such a mess... so back to what worked for a year. It's a wire thing that goes across the roof of the mouth. They can't get the thumb all the way in to suck it... it's costing us $400 BUT, she's way too old. Unfortunately ( ) her friends are TOO NICE to tease her about it, so there is no peer pressure to stop. Never thought I'd wish my kids had nasty friends! LOL
DH leaves tomorrow for his 145 mi bike trip to camp. He and a friend will ride 100+ miles the first day, from Chelmsford MA (church building) to Biddeford ME. INSANE! LOL And all because I told him he was TOO OLD, when he was about 32. LOL
I've gotta check yesterday's thread so I can do personals....
Pat, DS will NOT be riding with DH. 2 guys from church are going up tomorrow night, and will bring DS to the hotel they stay at in Biddeford. I don't think DS is capable of even 30-40 mi in a day, and definately NOT at the pace DH will ride!
Sorry your sodium is down. I would really be suffering in your shoes! I'm battling enough retention with 9+ glasses of water a day and low sodium diet.
Hazel, sorry you were up, but at least you figured out why. I think it's even more frustrating when there's no good reason for it! Glad you are enjoying all your activity , too.
Judy, glad you have the support of a spouse who did/can do ww with you. I know it has helped me a LOT to have DH's support... not that he wasn't supportive before, but now that he KNOWs the points, and can figure out my journal, I'm more honest! From what I read, Isobel is heading about your way. Hope the path changes, and *she* goes out to sea and fizzles out, tho. I can't imagine being closer to those storms ! Here in MA, we rarely get anything (other than blizzards)
Have a great OP day all
