Morning all
As I typed in the date on the gym thread, I realized TODAY is the deadline to have DS register for PSATs... and guess who forgot to call the school yesterday? MAN, i hate it when I do that to myself;it's been pouring all morning, and now DS is prob going to have to walk or ride his bike there to do it, since I can't go til 4pm, and I think that's too late. Sigh. Thankfully DH says the rain is almost done (he was on the weather channel site)
I also forgot to call the dentist yesterday. DS had an appt for today, but I need to switch it to middle DD, since she is going back in the habit breaker next week and needs to have her teeth done first. She had an appt Sat, but we can't make that one... so I have to call them and shuffle the appts all around.
Said DD won't stop sucking her thumb. She's almost 11, and sucks it about 90% of the time, literally. EVERY time I look at her it's in. and it's messed up her speech, not to mention her teeth. Her mouth actually looks disgusting to me, it's such a mess... so back to what worked for a year. It's a wire thing that goes across the roof of the mouth. They can't get the thumb all the way in to suck it... it's costing us $400 BUT, she's way too old. Unfortunately ( ) her friends are TOO NICE to tease her about it, so there is no peer pressure to stop. Never thought I'd wish my kids had nasty friends! LOL
DH leaves tomorrow for his 145 mi bike trip to camp. He and a friend will ride 100+ miles the first day, from Chelmsford MA (church building) to Biddeford ME. INSANE! LOL And all because I told him he was TOO OLD, when he was about 32. LOL
I've gotta check yesterday's thread so I can do personals....
Pat, DS will NOT be riding with DH. 2 guys from church are going up tomorrow night, and will bring DS to the hotel they stay at in Biddeford. I don't think DS is capable of even 30-40 mi in a day, and definately NOT at the pace DH will ride!
Sorry your sodium is down. I would really be suffering in your shoes! I'm battling enough retention with 9+ glasses of water a day and low sodium diet.
Hazel, sorry you were up, but at least you figured out why. I think it's even more frustrating when there's no good reason for it! Glad you are enjoying all your activity , too.
Judy, glad you have the support of a spouse who did/can do ww with you. I know it has helped me a LOT to have DH's support... not that he wasn't supportive before, but now that he KNOWs the points, and can figure out my journal, I'm more honest! From what I read, Isobel is heading about your way. Hope the path changes, and *she* goes out to sea and fizzles out, tho. I can't imagine being closer to those storms ! Here in MA, we rarely get anything (other than blizzards)
Have a great OP day all

Mornin' buddies graemlins/wave.gif it's a nice sunny morning right now & you'd never know that Isabelle is heading our way. Humidity dropped some yesterday too & I would've liked to have turned a/c off & opened windows last night but DH wanted a/c. I had the a/c off all day but didn't open the windows & it actually stayed cool in the house. This a.m. tho when I took the dog out & came back & opened up the windows. Temps look decent for the next week or so anyway. As for Isabelle...the gov. has already declared a state of emergency here(yesterday afternoon) & folks are going nuts in the stores buying supplies. Home Depot has run out of generators they say. A lot of the hotels in Richmond are already full with folks from the coast making reservations in case of evacuation. At least for now the storm seems to be weakening tho it can still pack a punch...but not like yesterday early.

Susan can you not register your DS for the PSATs online? I registered DS for the SATs online so I know you can do that but don't know about the PSATs. Hope all works out with the switching of the dental appts. All of DDs sons sucked their thumbs tho thankfully not that long. Little Bit now is sucking 2 fingers. How long will your DD have to wear the gadget in her mouth? I imagine had she been in public school the kids would not have been so nice about it. Sounds like quite a day your DH is gonna have tomorrow. That's a fer piece on a bike  Hope the guys enjoy the retreat.

Judy how'd your aerobics class go last night? Feeling better? Are y'all looking to get any effects from the hurricane? Guess we're in for a bit of rain at the very least.

Chouchi how are you feeling? I read that other diet site you put up(can't remember the name right off)but it was too regimented for me. I like the flexibility of WW. How's your DS doing? Hope he can get the new med soon.

Hazel sounds like your exercise regime is going well.

Fay & Sue miss hearing from y'all. Hope things are going along ok.

I sure didn't get much done yesterday. I did wash a load of clothes but that's about the extent of it. After supper last night DH & I went to DD's to get a couple of rocking chairs & a couple of plastic tubs from under the house. The tubs have Mama's winter clothes in them so we took them to her & brought the rockers over here. We need to get some of the cardboard boxes from under there as they are all damp but it was too late last night. You sure can tell the days are getting shorter now. I miss the long evenings.

Tonight DS has a ballgame but he isn't sure what time. For some reason I think it's early but can't remember why I think that. This is still part of the playoffs. They won last Thurs. game.

I hope to get walking with Leslie in a bit. Hope everybuddy has a great OP Tuesday smile.gif graemlins/thumbup.gif

Morning all, it's clear and a little humid today. We had our now normal big evening storm last nite and yes everyone is panic shopping around here for Isabel. Isabel is suppose to come thru here on Thursday. I hope the storm has run out of steam by time it gets here.

Susan hope you get DS test registration sorted out okay. Yes I know what you mean about the DHs understanding what's in our food journal--it certainly does keep one honest smile.gif A real bad hurricane came thru this area in the 50s and tore up the place real bad so I've seen what hurricanes can do. I'm staying in prayer for no damage from this one.

Pat aerobics class was crowded w/new folk and I'm always glad to see more women doing something to take better care of themselves. I'm feeling a little better each day. The cough isn't as often anymore and I slept pretty good last nite. So hopefully I'll be fully recuperated soon.

Chouchi, Sue and Faylene missed y'all yesterday.

Hope everyone is having a good OP day and remembering the water.

Judy

Morning Everyone...Well, it is already afternoon. I am normally early in my posting. We are moving into our new trailer this week, so I may not sign in every day this week. I think our computers will be down Thurs and Fri. If, so I hope all of you have a nice weekend and I will touch base next week when we are up and running. The moving is keeping me busy and active. Tonight was my first Polynesian Lesson, but the class has been postponed until next week. So, have a great day...and a great week. If I don't post again..I will be thinking of all of you and hoping all your days will be great ones. Bye for now.. graemlins/wave.gif
