Morning all!
I didn't end up in the gym yesterday.Instead I ran errands once the daycare kids left, made dinner, then went shopping. I was going to try on jeans to see if I've shrunk a full size yet, and to buy DH a Bday present. Part of his present is going to be buying him a new watch band, but wouldn't you know I forgot his watch?
I struck out on the jeans too. I've been wearing Lee 5 pocket jeans in a 16W. Well, the women's sizes, which tend to be looser in the waist and butt than the same # in a relaxed fit, only come in a 16 and up. Sigh. I tried on regular 16s and 14s... the 14s weren't buttoning, and the regular 16 (relaxed fit) weren't as comphy as the 16w, which are baggy on me now. Sigh.
At least I got DH a present! LOL Bought him a new bike shirt-- it's stars and stripes (called centennial even) and LOUD, which he likes for visibility; and I also got him new bike gloves that are specially for ulnar and carpel tunnel issues (he has carpel tunnel, ulnar runs up to your elbow and is what IHave trouble with, what a pair!)
DH called this am, he and the kids are having fun, tho it rained last night in NH. THey are hoping to climb Mt Washington today, or at least part of it. don't know how far the kids will make it.
Judy, I'm glad you aren't angry anymore. I was worried about that! I do get lots of activity-- mostly biking this time of year, plus walking, and in the winter I resort to Walk away the Pounds tapes and the Firm workouts. I just can't do outside much when it's cold because of my asthma. On my vacation with DH, my lowest activity point day earned my 7 points. graemlins/thumbup.gif
Chouchi, glad you had low point options at the party. I hope your Dr can fit you in sooner!
Pat, did you sleep in today? I thought WI was tomorrow....I know you needed the sleep, tho!
Speaking of that, my scale is up today. 2 #. Glad it's not official til THursday!!!
Hazel, did you get your book reviews done?
Miss the rest of you!!
Have a great OP day all
