Howdy, jpthrash! Welcome to BCB! I'm in Dallas, where it's only sweltering outside. It's refrigerated in my office (and everywhere else I go) so I have to go out to defrost. :D

Lubbock reporting in and very proud to say that last night we got our first rain since June 26! The excessive heat & drought for the past 60+ days had cooked the grass & 1/3 of the dry-land cotton. It certainly felt great to hear the thunder and see the rain last night!

I hope you all are not sweltering now. Hey, any Corpus Christi folks here? I heard on the news tonight that another storm is heading your way. Take care, Texans!

howdy im im lawton ok, but i was born and raised in garland tx. i go there as much as i can , im due a texas fix soon.I love ok, but it wil never be home like tx is its sweltering here also by the way, katb

Amarillo Tx. here and cool and rainy today but gosh we needed it.. I am just getting back into posting again after being gone for a while.. Hope to talk to each and all of ya'll..
Hang in there gals, together we can do this. Also having problems keeping my blood sugar down. I am diabetic..Anyone have any good hits or ideas.. would love to hear them. Wish they had a section for Diabetics here.. could sure use the support and help. Wonder who you contact to get one started.. Anyway Happy OP tomorrow smile.gif
