Anyone from Massachusetts?

Hi,

I am new here and looking to correspond with others in a similar boat as me also in Massachusetts. I'm a single mother of a 4 year old daughter, recently re-committed to WW and hoping to succeed this time! I have about 30-40 pounds to lose and have a long way to go!

I'm not from MASS but thought I'd say hello as I'm from Maine.This cold weather is getting alittle tiresome.I still try to get outside for a walk a couple times a wk but mostly its just too cold.

Where in Maine are you? I used to live in OOB, worked in Sanford, have relatives in Acton and Shapliegh (mom's side) and in Rockland and Waldoboro (ex's side).

And oh yea -- I know how cold it gets in Maine -- when I was in OOB, we had some killer snowfall that kept me inside almost all winter, save for work. I hated it -- plus OOB is so isolated in the winter anyway!

I live in the Augusta area.I usuually make a couple of trips to OOB a yr but mostly off season!!Not a big fan of it in the summer.
You seem to be doing wel with WW.I like BCB,I need the tough love approach.My At Work Program is alot of "you'll do better tomorrow".

Hi buddies.
I live in Ashland, and am in the 4th week of WW Core plan. I go to meetings in Shrewsbury, if anyone goes there. Not such a great weigh-in this Friday, up 0.4#, but I think my body is getting used to having lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks. I'm trying to be really good this week, cause I get frustrated easily if I don't lose.

The only good thing about all this snow is snow-shoeing. Went this am with my dog and friend, and it was great exercise! Went for 45 minutes, wonder how many AP that was?

Looks like we are in the clear for next week with snow though. That is fine with me.

Well, nice to meet some MA buddies. Let's stay in touch.

Wow -- I had forgotten that i started this post .... and boy was it a long time ago!!

Over 3 years ago and only about 26 posts?? I guess that there aren't as many in Mass on here anymore ..

Well, I'm back again, trying to find my motivation. In 2003 I lost 40 + pounds and got to about 142 pounds ..... kept it off for about 6 months and then life got in the way again.

Today -- i'm back at 180 again. I can't believe i saw the scale say 180 again. I am so disappointed in myself, and hope I can make this work this time for good.

Yup, I'm from Mass also. In the North Dartmouth area, near UMASS. My husband and I also own a cabin in Harmony, Maine (near Moosehead Lake). We own it with 5 other couples. Love it out there and love where I live in Dartmouth. I also work in New Bedford, MA as an Admn.Assnt for an oil company. Anyone else from my area? Thanks for response ~ :)
