Hi, Y'all!!!!

I thought I'd start this early. I just came from weigh-in. I'm down another 2.4 pounds. I really like Flex Points.

The cast is off the ankle, but it is still pretty weak. I guess it will take time to get stronger.

DH and DS are going camping this weekend with the Boy Scouts. They are going to Perryville, KY for a Civil War re-inactment. You'd think I had two little boys instead of one. :D DD and I will have plenty to do while they are gone.
I've become the disignated driver for my teen-age daughter and her friends. I actually think it's kind of cool. :D

How's everyone else doing? Check-in and let us know.

Y'all are in my prayers, as always. graemlins/wave.gif

Woooohooo Susan!! So how does it feel to be UNDER goal?? One of these days I'll join ya!

I am without a computer! AAHHH!! It's kaput, kapooey! I can only get online while I'm at work, if the kids cooperate ;) So, until next week my time online is veeeeeeeery limited.

I am back on Winning Points. Flex points are great but a little too flexible for me right now. After I get myself back on track then maybe I'll try it again.

We are starting adoption on the 6th so keep us in prayer! We've been through the process before with Foster care so I pretty much know what to expect. We are going for the hardest to place which is siblings. The process can go as fast as 2 months so we could possibly be placed by Christmas! Instant family!

Next!

Hi All,

Just checking in to say hi and "Praise God" for a real blessing in our lives. For years DH has had a vision for building a youth outreach resort because there's nothing like that in the UK and DH's passion is teen evangelism. Well it looks like it's going to happen and someone is even going to pay him to manage the project! After years of living on the edge financially, this is very exciting and the culmination of years of prayer and waiting (and doubting and worrying and sleepless nights and and and...). Some of you have prayed during the darker moments so I wanted to say thanks.

Millie

Hi everybuddy! Busy day today running payday errands. Did I get on here yet today and tell you that I finished the double portrait that I've been working on "forever"??? As soon as I can get it down-sized for the computer, I'll add it to the picture Trail and you can see it for yourself. And critique it! :D Can't wait to get a frame for it and deliver it to SIL after I let a half dozen or more people see it, that is. ;)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Chris! Looks like the adoption dream might be a soon-coming reality. I'll be praying for you. I think DH and I could handle something like that better now (or in our 30's or 40's), then we handled it in our early 20's with our oldest DD. We had a newborn and we loved her, but I was not emotionally ready after just 2 1/2 years of marriage and being so young. You will do well with this challenge I'm sure. Just lean on the Lord.

Millie, that's great that your DH has a heart for teens! They need all the love and care they can get in today's world. Congratulations on the ministry and extra finances. God is good.

Bye all........ graemlins/wave.gif

Happy Weekend Buddies :D
I am sooooo glad it is finally here, I don't even really mind right now that I have to go to work tomorrow morning for a meeting tongue.gif
Susan: Take care of the ankle, what a joy it must be to have the cast off, be careful with it and do as the doc says ;) Have a great weekend with DD and her friends.
Chris: Thanks sooo much for your encouragement on the other post. What a blessing it is to come here and get Christian support from those that know what it is like :D I am going to give the flex points another week, if I am still having trouble, I will go back to winning points also. So many folks are having great success with the flexing, I kinda feel out of place just because I am struggling with it. It is nice to know I am not the only one ;)
Millie: Congrats to DH. Keep up informed so we know how to pray.
Lorraine: Can't WAIT to see that picture :D Have a great weekend.

Man it's neat to see everyone back here posting on Christian BCB ...
Susan ... what a relief to get the cast removed & to also lose 2.4 pounds. I dropped 2lbs myself, even though I only weigh once a month so it was actually 6.6 for the total month.(Why does it never seem like enough? Guess thats why I hate scales!) ;)
Chris ... wishing you the very best, I'm happy for you about the adoption! graemlins/wave.gif
Millie... how neat, to see God open doors for your DH & you. I really want to share this with my husband who is waiting for God to full fill his dreams & goals...thanks for sharing! graemlins/wave.gif
Lorraine... thank you so much for your lovely post, it really helps knowing someone can relate to how I've been feeling & struggling! Allison ... I'm thinking about you still & just want to let you know I'll be praying for you!!! graemlins/wave.gif
