Hi Buddies!! :D ... I'm Back!!
Boy, I'll TELL ya... Between moving and our Hurricane Isabel, I feel like it's been ages since I've been able to be on line and posting on a regular basis!! graemlins/crazy.gif
Praise God!! ... The big "skyscaper", old oak tree did NOT fall on our beautiful new house!! :D We were afraid that it might and prayed that God would keep her from snapping under the strong winds!! ... Actually we made out pretty good!! ... We did not lose power or water although our neighbors did... And a tree fell on our neighbor's fence, but we were fortunate enough to get through with just a yard full of tree limbs and branches to pick up!!
... But trees were uprooted and/or broken all over the place and the schools are STILL closed today on Monday because so many areas are still without power and it's not safe for the school buses to run.
Slowly, but surely, we're getting settled into the big new house!! :D ... We've got the kitchen, the fireplace family room, and the larger step down family room set up!! ... The bedrooms are functional, but not decorated... And the formal living room, dining room, and the bigger spare bedroom are still filled with unpacked boxes!! ...
I've got a week to get at least the MAIN floor ready!! graemlins/crazy.gif ... Yesterday, the 21st, was hubby's 42nd birthday and we're having a birthday gathering/ celebration for him and our nephew this next Sunday the 28th... So this will be the first time we have all of the family, his mom and dad, his brother & wife, and his sister, hubby and 2 kids... 11 of us all together for a birthday gathering next Sunday...
I've had a good strong OP week and am hoping for a pretty loss come Wednesday night, although with ugly ole ToM here, I may just break even...
