Just wondering??

Hi all, I have been wondering if I should go to the Dr. and get a blood test for pregnancy. My last period ended on Oct. 2 so there has been nothing since then. I have taken 2 hpt's and both were negative, the last one was on monday past, the 10th of November. I do usually run a longer cycle when I am not on bcp's but not this long, it is now 45 days. I don't feel pregnant, but it does seem like a long time so I am starting to wonder if the hpt was accurate, or if I got a false negative. What would you all do?

I would take another HPT. Of course, I am a testing freak anyway, but if it came up negative I would make an appointment with the OB/GYN. It happened to me about 3 months ago, I had a really long cycle and I am 28 days like clock work, I ran about 48 days, no sign of AF no positive on the HPT, so I went to the Dr's office and he said maybe I just didn't ovulate the month, that it does happen sometimes, and the very next day, bam, AF arrives. It's kind of like the toothache that goes away as soon as you have a dentist appointment! Let us know how it turns out for you!
