I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am coming to terms that this TTC thing Stinks  !! ;) My meds have kicked in and not in a good way!! I have no appetite and Im having a tough time keeping anything in me! I just hope They work cause that will make it all worth anything I have to go through ;) . That was my last offical "complaint" about the meds and from here on out Im going to be more positive :D
How are you all doing??

Good morning girls!!
WOOHOO Dune! Happy Onederland!!! You WILL be TTC in no time!!
Shellys ~ sorry the meds are making you sick, don't worry about complaining, I know it helps me make it through things I don't like!
I hope to come back and make time to do more personals later. Sometime today my phone extension and computer are moving to my new office (though I've been so busy with covering for vacations that I haven't had time to move my crap). And I get my stitches out today (my appt is on my lunch hour). HOORAY!! I get the results of the biospy, too, but I'm not really worried because I think they would have called me if something came up. DH and I didn't get to TTC and I think I Oed. First, my neck was too sore, and then DH has had a toothache all weekend, so he wasn't really "in the mood." Which is probably better to take this month off, so next month I will be all revved up and ready to go!!! graemlins/crazy.gif
Hope you all had a great weekend!! I will catch up with you gals later!!

Hi everyone. Nothing exciting to report here. Af has finally left, so now I'm just waiting to O. I'm trying to chart this month for the first time. Those of you that chart, does your temp flucuate a lot each morning? Mine seems to be up .02 one day & down the next.
Dune~YEAH! Congratulations, buddy! :D You'll be TTC very soon!
Shellys~I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles with the meds. I hope it'll get better for you. Hopefully you won't need to be on them very long. ;)
Jenn~Glad to hear everything went well with your surgery. Now you're all ready for being pg next month.
Hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend!

Hi graemlins/wave.gif
Dune- Great Job on the Weight Loss!!
Shelleys- Sorry to hear about the medicine problems. What dose did you start with? When are you taking it? I started taking mine at night with a snack and milk. I have the most problems when I eat too much salad (weird huh?) I also get heartburn (never ever had that before)...
Jen- Good luck with the Dr.
April- I chart and it sounds like your temps are ok. If you want take a look at my charts in my sig. July's chart was great, this current chart has lots of strange temps and no O....
Nothing to exciting going on with me. Wish me luck I have an RE appt on Thursday at 11am.

Jenn- maybe you didnt miss "O"??? ;)
April- yes my temps do change every morning. it is completely normal. If you go to Fertilityfriend.com you can view all types of charts to compare yours to. Just dont give up. If you need any help let me know.
Ginny- I started on 500mg per day and right now I am up to 1000. So I take one with breakfast one with dinner. Ive only had serious stomach problems a few times but they have all accured either from salads or fatty foods and on a low carb diet that knocks alot out to eat :( MY meals are pretty bland and I dont really have an appitete-do you??

Again, a quick note, to update you guys...
The biopsy came back good!!!! No c-word (not that I anticipated that, but now I am totally relieved). And I'm fairly positive I O'ed, but if DH's toothache is better, maybe we can have a better-late-than-never go at it graemlins/crazy.gif but it just might be for fun ;)
My computer is being moved in a couple of hours, maybe I'll come back then.
See you later girls! jenn smile.gif

Hi everyone
I can not believe how quickly that weekend went by. Three days just gone. But it was a busy three days starting Friday night. We went to the State Fair Friday. Guess we get lucky that it is held in our hometown so that we don't have to travel very far. Would you believe that all the WW groups around here run a special state fair meeting going over what foods you can eat at the state fair and stay point friendly.
I also did some shopping and got some new jeans and a new skirt for the winter. Took advantage of the fact that there was no sales tax this weekend. Plus DH and I did a lot of work on painting our kitchen. We might just have it finished in a few weeks.
I started back at the gym today. I am going to do to myself for exercise what I did to my Skids for reading over the summer. I am giving my self a star on a chart for every day that I do thirty minutes of exercise and then my DH can work out a reward if achieve so many stars in a month.
I think I O'd this weekend. I still don't know - this cycle has been pretty wasky I am sure because of the medication and the stress. So I am not holding out much hope.
Dune; Congrats on making onderland. I am going to aim to lose 20lbs by christmas. That takes me back to where I was last year at that time. I will probably need kicks along the way and hope that everything cooperates with my medication.
Shelly: Sorry to hear that your meds are making you sick. I will swap you - the meds I am on give me a huge appetite at times.
Jenn: Way to go on the good news from the biopsy. Bet you are really relieved about that. Now you can focus on TTC with no pressure or worries.
April: My temps are usually up down and all over the place at the start of each month. They stablise towards the middle of the month as I get close to oing then they go up and down again but higher than before.
Ginny: Good luck with the RE on thursday. I am waiting to hear from my doctor as he was going to refer me off to an RE this month.
Well baby dust to all.

Afternoon.
Things have been crazy here. The horse did not pass the vet examination. graemlins/sobbing.gif Even worse, the poor guy either has some sort of neurological disorder or West Nile Virus. I feel so bad for the owner and for that horse. And now I'm back to searching the classifieds again. Searching is fun, but this is getting a little ridiculous.
Plus I am so tired! I slept and slept over the weekend and went to bed early last night and I still feel like I can't get my head on straight. I've been having a lot of protein so I know my food intake isn't the problem. Maybe I'm just really behind in my sleep and my body is demanding that I fill the bank up again. That's happened before. Well, let's hope I get it together before I really screw something up. ;)
I'm glad to hear that everyone's labor day was fun/relaxing. I'll be back to write more later. graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

Good afternoon ladies! I'm back from vacation and came into work today with 58 emails awaiting me. Oh well, it's nice to know I was missed at work! Vacation was good, we basically did little day trips and stayed home and relaxed. It was very nice. Last night my DD was so sweet, she cuddled up to me on the couch and said "Mama, we have to have a nice long snuggle cuz it's the last one of vacation!" She is sooo sweet. Gotta do personals quick before something else pops up at work here.
Dune - Weigh to go. Whoohooo onederland!
Jenn - Great news on the biopsy, not that we were worried, but it's great to have that confirmation isn't it?
Shellys - Sorry to hear the meds are acting up for ya.
Fiona - Hope you get that job! How was the fair?
April - I have been saying for months now that I am going to temp and chart, and here I am not doing it still. Let me know how it goes!
MrsA925 - Good luck with your appointment on Thursday!
Surfergirl - So sorry to hear about the horse. I get the same way with sleeping. I only need about 6 hours a night, but it eventually catches up to me and I could sleep for a week straight!
Well gotta get back to work now, so sorry if I missed anyone. Hope you all have a great day (what's left of it anyway!)and baby and "O" dust to all!

I didnt even see that Im the Captain now! graemlins/bcbsalute.gif My friend went to the fair by you and said it was great!! (we dont have anything like that here) someday I will have to make the trip up!
Surfergilr- Im sorry about the horse- I hope you find one real soon.
Elmirady- your DD sounds like such a cutie pie! Maybe one day you can post a pic of her so we can see that sweetie!! Im glad you had fun on your vacation.

jen~~glad to hear everything is ok! now on to ttc....
shelly~~sorry your meds are crappy, heres to hoping you dont need them for very long!
fiona~~how fun. we missed our fair. i have only been to a fair once, and i was like three, so i dont remember what it was like. painting...i have been picking out paint for painting our room at my parents house (we start building this weekend! yay!). im leaning towards a rough finish, like you mix sand with the paint, and the texture comes out really cool. way to go with your gym plan! it should really help motivate you to go!
surfergirl~~sorry to hear about the horse, how sad for it and the owner! you will find the one, dont worry. and whats with the tiredness??? our newest grad, possibly??? lol

Dune - congratulations on your weight loss! I just have to brag: I've been so good too, I've been perfectly OP the past two weeks, and have lost 5.5 pounds - I only have 3 pounds to my personal goal! :)
Shelly - sorry to hear about your meds, but I'm sure it will even out as your body gets used to the medication.
Jenn - are you all settled in the new office? And I'm happy to hear about your test results.
Which reminds me: I wish I could find the time to re-design my office, I con't like all of the layout, especially the fact that visitors can see the computer screen from a certain visitor's chair. But I haven't been able to figure out how to rearrange the furniture. I guess I should call in an consultant from the funriture vendorm, and a rep from the healthcare, to make sure it is ergonimical. But when!? I have been terribly busy lately, two large trials in one week is almost too much. But I won both, so my clients are happy!
SurferGirl - sorry to hear about the horse not passing the vet exam. :-( Good luch on the search, you'll find the right one - eventually if not right avay ;)
Everyone else - hi!
Other than that, I'm probably on 5dpo toady. I'm saying "probably" because unfortunately I couldn't temp on cd10, but if it was low today is 5dpo, which also correlates with CM, ferning and CP. Although FretilityFriend doesn't give me a coverline unless I put in a "fake" temperature for the missing day. So the pesky 2ww has probably started again! And I *really really* hope this is it, because if my cycle ramains reasonably regular, the next O will be at a time when DH is away all week on a business trip! :-(
Back to work, I have to finish the draft for a major business agreement, and have a conference call with the parties later today.

Hi everyone
I hope you are all having a great day. Mine has been a little frustrating to say the least. I had a follow up visit with my eye doctor this morning and he is basically going well I really don't know what is wrong with your eye this time. it could have ben a return of the inflamation or it could be a leaky blood vessel but it will take two more weeks to determine that. UGH. He is driving me nuts and he won't reduce the steriods this time. I wish some days I had a million dollars that I could donate to someone and tell them go research this condition.
But in other news - well I got a call from HR yesterday afternoon and I am having a second interview for the position today. I can only hope this is a good thing.
Plus I think I ovulated on the weekend. I don't know how positive I will be about this month but I will wait it out and see. Maybe just mayhe I can get lucky if you know what I mean.
Surfergirl: Sorry to hear that the horse didn't work out. But maybe your special horse is out there waiting for you right.
Elmira: I envy your relationship with your daughter. It sounds like you are really close. Hopefully I will be blessed with something like that in the future. The fair was pretty cool. We didn't go for the rides. Just walked around and looked at things.
Shelly: How is the house hunting going?
June: Sounds like you want to do some redecorating. Good luck wih the 2ww I hope you don't get too crazy.
Baby dust to all.

Hi ladies! Nothing new going on here. Just waiting for DD to call me at work to tell me how her first day of 2nd grade went today.
Fiona - I am not a ride person either! Sorry about the eye situation, but it will resolve itself shortly I'm sure! My DD and I are very close and she is also very close to her father too. It is soo sweet to see them together. We are truly blessed with her in our lives. Pretty darn soon, (I predict you will be graduating within a month or two at the most), you will have your very own DD or DS to snuggle up close to!
Shellys - Where are you today? How are those nasty little side effect treating you?
Jenn - Have you got your new office situated yet?
June/Dune/April/Surfergirl/MrsA925 - graemlins/wave.gif  How are you gals doing today?
Hope everyone has a great rest of their day!

can i bellyache a little? i am so frustrated with work, i wish some kind millionaire would take me under their wing (no, i dont want a sugar daddy, just a benefactor;) ), and pay for me to go to school and be a nurse, so i could quit work. i have HAD it with one of my co-workers. i was so upset, my stomach was all upset, and i wanted to cry. and all i could think about was stopping at 7-11 for a coke and some ding dongs. BUT, i remembered my 3.8 pound loss last week, and thought better of it. instead, i came home and had cottage cheese and pineapple. then, i was trying to register for school, and couldnt remember my password. for anything. well, i just relaxed a little, and it came to me! so, i tried to register. i HAVE to take chemistry this quarter (i am NOT taking chemistry while im pg, and I WILL BE PG for winter and spring quarters), and they are only offering three sections, and one online course. well, all three sections were closed, so i had to enroll in the online course. which will be ok, i wont have to miss work, and my bro (the chemical engineering major) will be able to help me. plus, i enrolled in an english lit class, hopefully i can keep it. {as long as i get financial aid, i should be able to, and i have to apply for fin. aid tomorrow. i should qualify for a loan at least.} oh, the good school news is that i only need nine classes till i an elligible to apply at university of portland for nursing school!!! woo hoo!!! ok, that is my drama for today.
fiona~sorry about your doctor. what is wrong with your eyes? ( i know you have had problems with them, but what is it called?)

Good morning. Not much new to report here. We went to see Alison Kraus & Union Station last night-great concert. Dog and house sitting this weekend for some friends.
Ginny~I know I should be able to figure this out, but what's an RE? I'm glad to hear the fluctuating temps is normal.
Jenn~I'm so glad the biopsy results were good!
Fiona~Hope that your eyes shape up soon. It sounds like you had a great weekend.
Elmirady~DD sounds so sweet! I hope her first day of second grade went well.
Shellys~Have the meds gotten any better?
Surfergirl~I'm sorry to hear about the horse. You should head out this direction, there are horses a plenty in this area.
June~Congrats on your cases. I really need to remodel my office too, but unfortunately I have this really big metal desk from the 50's that takes up half the room and the company won't spend money on furniture.
Dune~I'm suddenly remembering trying to live as a broke college student! I hope things improve for you. How many semesters do you have left on your degree?

Hi everyone
Well I have another day of exercising under my belt. I even have DH going on the system now so he is trying to get in exercise as well. I am feeling better for it as well. I can only hope that it will show on the scale.
Still waiting to hear on the job front. They were meant to have made a decision this morning. So I will wait on.
Elmira: How did the first day of second grade go. I talked with my SD13 last night and she had a good first day back. She started 8th grade and has made honors spanish (her dad and I are very pleased with that) but she is a little disappointed that she doesn't have classes with her best friend.
April: Old 50's clunky desk - sounds like it would fit right in here. We got a new faculty member a couple of weeks ago. Ordered new furniture and the one thing that still hasn't shown is the desk. (well the computer too).
Hi to everyone else. Lots of baby dust all round.

Afternoon All! Things here are going well. I enjoyed my day off yesterday - very relaxing. I'm gearing up again on the horse front. I've been fortifying myself with iced tea - it seems to be helping. I'm getting things a work in order for my business trip to Phoenix. I'll be gone for 4 days. I hope I actually make it out of the hotel. Well, it's a goal.
I'm hoping to go to the Ren Fest next weekend in Maryland. I haven't been to one in a couple of years, but I always love going.
And who out there is watching Paradise Hotel? (Um, yeah. I'm not either. graemlins/clown.gif But just in case, did you get a load of Toni last night?)
Fiona - Aren't doctors great? Sigh. I hope you get that job. I've got my finger crossed for you.
Dune - CONGRATS ON THE WEIGHT LOSS!!! graemlins/bcbsalute.gif And if you need help in Chem just ask. I took so many Chem classes I almost had a minor.
Aprilk - I wish! I have some new leads and am hoping to pursue them next week after I'm back from Phoenix.
Shellys - How are you feeling? Are you starting to feel better on the meds? How's the new diet treating you?
Jenn - WOO HOO! graemlins/crazy.gif I'm so glad the biopsy can back negative. What a load off. Now you guys and really get down to business.
Elmirady - So how was your DD's first day of second grade? I loved second grade. My teacher was Ms. Strong. She was about as tall as we were so we could really relate.
June - How are things?

Hi Ladies graemlins/wave.gif
Just popping in with a question!
Are any of you using ovulation predictors? I just got a pack of them from a friend who got pg before using them (lucky her!). I'm not sure if I should totally trust them or just go with what my body feels like. Everytime I think I've got this TTC thing figured out, I don't! LOL

Hi there, well.. I'm confused.... I'm thinking *maybe* I have a chance of actually being pregnant (I feel that I'm jinxing it just by writing this, but I just have to talk to someone). I'm thinking either I'm pregnant or I O'd really late... So here's my reasoning:
I'm pretty sure I O'd on cd10, although I missed the temperature on that day. FertilityFriend won't give me a coverline unless I put in a "fake" temperature that day. BUT all the other signs (CP, saliva microscope and CM) say that I O'd around cd 10-11.... And today at 7dpo I got a *really* high temerature - immediately I'm thinking "triphasic" and pregnancy..... And I've been really tired yesterady and the day before (6 and 7 dpo) so much that I actually went to sleep at 9.30 and 10 pm. And my breasts have been tender yesterday and today, which they usually never are.... Here's a link to my chart if anyone cares to take a look (opinions are welcome!) http://circles2.fertilityfriend.com/home/27e69
The alternative is that I O'd really late, i.e. yesterday, and the rise is because of O. But then CP, CM and microscope don't correlate....
OK - anyone still following my "reasoning"?! ;) I guess the real cause will turn out to be that I'm coming down with a flu, all the sxs can be due to that just as well! Sigh.... I guess I'll know more in a few days - but I would like to know *now*... :-o
Fiona - congratulations on getting the job!!!
Well - just talking to you has helped me calm down a bit (and realize I can only wait!) I'm off to start work, I have lots of stuff to do today!

Hello ladies! Well DD's first day (and second) of Second Grade went great! She loves her new teacher and has always been excited about learning. Hope it lasts for another 10+ years, LOL. Hmm, guess what....I was nauseaous this morning, one time to the point of feeling the bile rise up in my throat (sorry if TMI) but the ONLY other 2 times I've had that is when I was pregnant. I just looked up in my calendar, and technically, the timing could have been right on last week during vacation! I'm not getting my hopes up, but as June, said, I just had to tell someone...and who better than all my TTC buddies!
Fiona - CONGRATULATIONS on the new job! Yep, this is the beginning of your long string of good things to be happening for you!
June - I can so relate (see above). I would test ASAP, but that's just me! I hope you are preggo! We need a graduate! We need someone to start the ball rolling for the rest of us to follow!
Shellys - How are you today? Are the side effects of the meds any better?
Jenn - Have you got that new office organized yet?
Surfergirl - Have fun in Pheonix! I hope you find a horse soon!
April - Have fun dog and house sitting! We have a hamster and that's enough for me right now since I get to clean the cage, feed him, etc. It is kind of funny though because he knows who feeds him...when I put him in his hamster ball he rolls around the house until he finds my feet!
Dune - Sounds like yesterday was just one of those days! Hope today is better for ya!
MrsA925 - How are you today? How was the RE appt?
Chris - Some of the ladies on here to use OPKs. I do not (although I've been saying I'm going to for about 3 months now!). One of these ladies I'm sure will be able guide you!
Hi to anyone I may have missed, and baby and "O" dust to all!

Wow! It sounds like good news throughout this thread!!!
Fiona~Congratulations on the new job! This is the start of great things for you.
June~Fingers & toes crossed for you! We need a graduate.
Elmirady~A vacation souvenier? Two graduates would be great!
Chris~I've used OPK's a couple of months. This month I'm charting and trying the OPK. I've found them a little frustrating, but I do like knowing that I seem to at least be O'ing. As far as trusting them or trusting your body, I'd do both just to cover the bases. ;)

Hi girls,
I am back!! I feel so overwhemled because I've got so much catching up to do with you guys! Not that I've got that much going on, but you all sure do!!! So, here goes my attempt at personals, I hope I don't miss anything:
Fiona ~ Congratulations on getting the job!!!!! I know as well as anyone how great that feels. SO, what's the scoop on it??? And yes, I do believe that this is the first of MANY great things coming your way.
June ~ All things sound very, very promising!!!! I have my fingers crossed for you!!!!!!!!!!
Elmirady ~ All things sound very, very promising for you, too!!!!!! I said that we'd all go down like dominoes, and maybe, just maybe the dominoes are starting to fall... (and Fiona, I think stuff like this happens in 3s, so maybe you are next!!)
SurferGirl ~ I am so sorry about the horse. I am happy you had a nice day off. And, no I am not watching Paradise Hotel, but I am sadly getting hooked on Big Brother 4 graemlins/clown.gif
april ~ How's it going? Sorry about your 50s furniture, but just think of it as "retro"! I am pretty lucky, because we have nice furniture here. My DH pointed this out to me when he came in to help me set up. He said "in the real world they don't have furniture this nice!!" (I work in academia, definitely NOT the real world for a variety of reasons!!)
Ginny ~ How are you doing? What a RE? And how did it go?
Chris ~ I have used them a couple of times, but I keep forgetting to buy them. They do work very well for me though. I haven't started charting (though, like Elmirady, I keep meaning to!) so that's the only true way for me to be positive that I have Oed (though I'm starting to get my body's signals). I haven't seen you around these parts of the board. Feel free to join us anytime. Good luck TTC!
Dune ~ I feel for you buddy!! I, too, was once a poor college student! But do not ask me for chemistry help if you want to pass your course!!! tongue.gif
As for me, I am FINALLY settled in my new office, though I didn't clear out and organize my files as well as I wanted to. But the new office is AWESOME! It is big (my old office was almost the size of a closet and used to be a copy room!) and has a window, so I get to see daylight now (as opposed to the cave-like existence I used to have!!) Work has slowed down some, too, so hopefully I can catch up before everything swings back up. With my co-worker's newly announced pregnancy, people keep asking me when I am going to get pg (no pressure or anything!!) But my boss even asked me this!! She said that I talk about my cat way too much and it's time I had a baby to talk about!! So, one of my big fears is lessened, that if I got this job and came in soon after and announced I was pg, that she'd be mad. Hopefully, with my surgery out of the way, stress/work load levels reduced and the "blessing" of my boss, I can get pg now!! (because I've heard that stress can impare TTC, and since 3 big stressors are eliminated, hopefully that will help speed things along!!)
That's all with me! Hopefully the BFPs will start rolling in! I am so excited!!!!! Babydust to all!!!!!!!
Take care girls!!!!

Morning eveyone
Thanks for the congratulations on the new job. I am pretty excited about it. It is still at the college that I work at but I will be moving into the payroll office and working as an accountant there. Taking on the responsibility for the student payroll. They are still working out the details of when I start there as I still have to cover some aspects of my current job until they can hire a replacement for me. Funny thing was this morning I had to type up my job description so that they can prepare for the ad to go in the paper next weekend. I guess it can be kind of scary doing that. But I am also very excited. This will be a new challenge.
And for whoever said good things come in threes well I feel as though I am two down now. My dad coming to visit (less than a week until he arrives now) and the new job. I said to DH last night only one more good thing needs to happen now and that is getting pregnant. So who nows. I do know that I am 5dpo, I have temps that are reasonably high for me and my BB have been sore and I have been going to sleep at 9:30ish every night. I used to be able to stay up until midnight no problems.
June: In terms of you Oing late. it happened to me once. I got a +ve on an OPK had all the right CM and what I thought was a temp jump but then about a week later it really did jump. I would be if you got a couple more days of high temps FF might just change your O date. But my fingers are crossed that this is it for you.
Elmira: Fingers crossed for you too. And I understand about making sure kids stay interested in learning. DH and I are going to sit down with SS 11 this weekend and work out an incentive contract with him for the marking period. He is the type of kid who is very reward driven.
April: How is the house and dog sitting going? Are you enjoying it. I know that DH and I won't be dog sitting for my SIL in a hurry (their dog barked and whined insecently).
Chris: I used OPK's for a while and they worked but it was dificult to make it through the day holding so you could pee on the stick at the right time. It at least gave me a prediciton before Oing rather than temping which tells me that I have O'd.
Jenn: Glad to hear that you got your office organized. And you are right about the stress TTC. I am trying desperately to reduce mine and slowly getting there.
Hi to eveyone else. And baby dust all round.

Thanks you guys! graemlins/wave.gif
I tried temping yeeeeeeeeears ago (we've been "at it" for almost 12 years  ) but my temp always runs high and I didn't have much luck with it. Yesterdays test had one line and todays had 2 but the kit says they have to be the same shade and the "O" line was lighter. I didn't really feel ready to O anyway so maybe in the next day or two something will happen.
My DH has a low count and low motility, or so we were told 10 years ago. They said never, ever would I get pg but last October we got a surprise! We found out New Years Day that I was 3 months pg. On DH's bday (Jan. 18) I found out it was in my right tube.. not cool! I was almost 4 mos. when I found out. Hard to imagine our tubes can hold a 5 inch long baby as wide as a ping pong ball but they can. I nearly died and had to have surgery that night. I apparently had scar tissue from God knows what but it's all been cleaned out and I still have both tubes. It still amazes me! So now that we know we can get pg we are trying seriously now. He is on Proxeed which is suppose to boost the "boys".
That's why I never made it to this side of BCB world! LOL
Thanks again Buddies! Hopefully we all have good news to report reeeeeeally soon!
Chris
