Well if everyone does not know about splenda i have to share my opinion.. i use it daily in my coffee and as a sugar substitute in many other foods..it is made from sugar.. but no calories ...
So try it you will most likely like it.. it does not have the after taste like aspartame..
Enjoy!

Someone told me Splenda is really sugar with the calories removed. True?

The Brown sugar is awsome but VERY sweet. Use 1/2.

I like it too but the brown sugar version does have real sugar in it too so you may have to count points for it.

I never realized that the brown sugar version had real sugar. I will have to check the package when I get home.

Brown sugar splenda is 1/2 the calories of regular sugar. There is sugar in it.

If something calls for 1 T of Brown sugar, use only 1/2 that amount of splenda as it is very sweet.

I had some on my baked sweet potato last night and was reading the label. There is sugar, GEZZE I would have never thought about it. It is very sweet thought but I love it. YUMMY. I have never tried it on anything but sweet potato's. I will have to broaden my horizon.

I use it on a baked sweet potato too. It has 0 points for 1/2 teaspoon, 2 teaspoons would be 1 point, 1 T would be 1, 2T would be 2, 3T would be 4. I figured this using the WW points calculator.

It taste so good that it will be worth the points for me. It is so sweet that a little goes a long way.

Not really... Splendais very highly processed sugar. You should do the same with Splenda as with anything else, and use it in moderation.

Every processed item is going to have some bad side effects. But just like with aspartame and saccharine, you should use it in moderation. I do eat some things that have a sugar-sub in it, but I usually prefer to stick to regular sugar and limit my usage.
