Here in Indiana we are test marketing McDonald's new line of salads. They are packaged together with a stepometer, choice of med drink or bottled H2O. On the box they come in, has all the nutritional info for each salad. It also has a small booklet that encourages getting more active.
They range anywhere from 5 to 11 points depending on which salad you get. I have tried the grilled Caesar Salad for 5 points. Has grilled chicken on top, lots of unusual and colorful greens, very good. I also tried the Del Rio Salad which is like a lighter version of a taco salad. It is 10-11 points depending if you use the sour cream that comes with it. It has strips of corn chips on top with a mexican meat filling on top of the unusual and colorful greens mentioned above.
I really enjoyed both salads and hope they keep them on the menu. Normally, I don't care for McDonald's food. This was very refreshing and filling. I will try the others. Only thing I didn't care for was the box they come in is huge, doesn't seem enviromentally friendly.
If they come to your area try them!
