Just tried this for the first time. Specifically I tried the salisbury steak w/ gravy and mashed potatos. It was very good. Let me say this though, I normally don't eat tv dinners but have to eat at work tonight(beware of the high salt content in most tv dinners). It has the POINTS on the box and this one and the Lasagna one are only 4 pts. I stay away from TV dinners because usually I can CREATE something for less pts and that I like but this one was great.

Not to mention that I got it for a dollar at a sale at Albertsons. Albertsons also had their Healthy choice meals for 40 percent off so I bought a few using some coupons I had too.
I just can't stomach buying the WW or HC meals regular price because sometimes I don't like them and sometimes they are too high points.

I just tried these a few weeks ago and was very impressed. I found them on sale as well and the price was significantly less than all the others.

I love the spaghetti w/meat sauce. You have to refigure the points though because some are not correct. graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

The Roasted Sirloin Supreme is very good, too. It tastes like beef and noodles with a kick!

There is also a new to me line in the Michealina's brand, called Garden Bistro. The are vegetable salads (NO meat!!). 2 for $3 at Wal-Mart, so I got the Greek and the Asian. The Greek was AWESOME, caulflower, red potatoes, spinach, roasted red pepper &onion, tomatoes, feta, black olives and a greek dressing. Package directions so you can enjoy it cold or warm.... The package claims it as 3 points, using the nutritional info on the package makes it 4 points. The only way this could be so is if they figured since there are so many zero point veggies in it.... I emailed them to ask why they listed it as 3 instead of 4 so I will follow up.

The flavor is excellent!! Sometimes those meals really have icky tasting veggies, IMO, but this is awesome, really fresh tasting. A definate will buy again product for me.

I know some people are down on frozen meals, but hey, not everyone is going to be in the kitchen preparing all their meals. When I get home late from leading meetings, a frozen entree is a much better choice then stopping off at the local greasy bag!!

Oh, another bonus on this one -- they said it is 3 servings of vegetables.

They also had American & Southwestern varieties. I haven't tried the Asian one yet, but if its anything like the Greek one, wooooo hoooooooooo!!! graemlins/thumbup.gif

I for one LOVE the convenience of frozen meals. I know a lot of people have concerns about sodium, which is fine, so you just know to avoid them. I've had so many days where I just didn't have the energy to make a meal from scratch, those were the days I hopped over to Mc Donald's for those "value meals". Knowing that I have a heatlhy AND tasty choice in my freezer has kept me on track with the program. I eat frozen meals regularly and have been continuously losing weight and luckily have not had any problems with water retention or blood pressure issues. I say hurray for frozen dinners!

Count me in with the frozen meals. I live alone with a tiny kitchen and I'm not in the mood to cook. And sodium is not an issue, because everything else in my diet is very low. I love to stock up on different meals so I always have a choice. At home I add a second veggie or a salad, sometimes a small glass of wine or a portion of soup. Later I have a low point dessert or hot chocolate.

I'm glad there are so many options out there. I'm not near a Trader Joes but a few times a year I make the trek to stock up on their delicious items - so many of them rank as convenience foods!

I am sitting here multi-tasking with the Glazed Chicken (typing & eating at the same time). I just discoved them on Saturday and I love them! The lasagna is really good!

I'm just getting back on the wagon, so right now I really need pre-packaged foods with the points on the box so I don't have to hesitate & try to figure out what I can eat.
