Last night, I stopped at a Kroger's nearby (in Cincinnati) that was having a grand re-opening, and lo and behold; I found a display of Natural Ovens products! I was so excited I snapped up about 5 loaves of bread, and 2 bags of bagels. PLUS they were on sale!
That's the only Krogers store I've seen them at so far, but I'm hoping it's a sign that the rest will be carrying them soon.
For those who aren't familiar with Natural Ovens (http://www.naturalovens.com) (and I know most are), they are a company based in Wisconsin that makes VERY tasty products that are all natural and filled with fiber. A slice of their 100% whole wheat bread (they have 8-10 varieties) is 60 cal, .5 grams fat, and 5 grams fiber -- which makes it 0 pts each (2 pts for 2 slices).
And their Brainy Bagels are delicious and 3 pts each. Each bagel has stone-ground whole wheat flour, Omega-3, flaxseed meal, and beta carotene added. I love them -- they're dense and filling, and well worth the 3 pts.
Anyway, if you're at Krogers, you might want to check it out (or ask if they're getting them).

Oh!!! That is great news! I hope the Krogers up here in Cowtown have them as well.

Tevya, it's the Krogers in Hyde Park. They just had their grand re-opening, and have tons of new stuff. The Natural Ovens products are in the Health food section right next to the salad bar.
And Paris, I'll bet if you check with them, they'll let you know -- are you in Columbus?. These Krogers in Cincy are pretty good about getting stuff people ask for.

Yep, my Kroger in Cincinnati, out in Anderson Township, has these products now too. I bought the cookies. Oatmeal raisin are 1 point each. I stuck them in the freezer so I can pull out one when I want. I'll buy the breads next time.
OUrs has a special display up near the produce section for these new products.

I do love their cookies, Debra -- I should have gotten some, but I couldn't fit anything more in my cart! :D Which Kroger in Anderson has it -- the one down by 275 or the one by 5 Mile?

Hello -- just a note on the Natural Ovens stuff. My sister was going to send some loaves as a house warming gift. When she got to the checkout (on website) -- a big warning showed up, telling would-be customers that the Nutrition information was not correct. I would hope that the info has been corrected, but you may want to double check with Natural Ovens.

I just saw your question Mardee. I get them at the Forest Hills Kroger, the one near five Mile.

I was just at their site, and found this notice about locations:
------------
Now Available in Cincinnati OH
We started servicing the Cincinnati, OH area on August 4, 2003. We are servicing the Kroger's in Cincinnati and Dayton, Jungle Jim's in Fairfield and Healthy Alternatives in Dayton. We are excited to be servicing the Cincinnati area!

I'm excited, too! :D FYI, I looked for a notice about nutrition information, but didn't see anything. Maybe what your sister saw was about one particular bread. Everything I saw looked like it always has.

Patti, I cannot find it in Columbus either. :(
However, I did find a new Schwebel's Light Whole Wheat bread that is excellent. 2 slices is 70 calories, .5 g fat and 6 g of fiber. And it has a soft texture and great taste.

My small town Kroger just started caring it this week. Keep looking. It may be at yours soon.

I agree -- it pays to keep checking. Slowly but surely, the other Krogers in town have started adding it to their shelves. I would try asking at customer service.
