Eybrow Hair Loss

Strange question here. Over the past couple of years, I've noticed my right eyebrow has become thinner and thinner. There are patches without any hair. Has anyone else had this happen?

There is a history of hypothyroidism in my family and I've read that that could cause this. I will be making an appointment with my doctor in the next few weeks.

Yes, I have experienced thinning eyebrows! I am also hypothyroid, but never linked the two together. I'd be interested in knowing more info. I did know that hair loss was a symptom of an underactive thyroid, I guess the eyebrows could be related as well.

I lost almost all body hair (except on my head, thank God) after menopause. I have to use an eyebrow pencil all the time now. Even my eyelashes are sparse.
