I got a tip on a good recipe site today. I went and checked it out and I think you'll like it. It's called www.recipezaar.com and on the left hand side, it's got different categories that you can go to. Eg., low fat, high fibre, low calorie, etc. etc. They also give you the nutritional facts per serving, so working out points is a breeze.

Here's an example of one of them from the Baked Goods - Low saturated Fats category.

PINEAPPLE BRAN WHOLE WHEAT MUFFINS

1 cup whole-wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup all-bran cereal
1/3 cup skim milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 (8-) can crushed pineapple w/ juice

1. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
2. Beat the egg slightly.
3. Add cereal, milk, and oil to the egg.
4. Stir to combine.
5. Let stand for 2 min.
6. or until the cereal has softened.
7. Stir the pineapple, including the juice, into the mixture.
8. Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined.
9. Spoon the batter evenly into a paper-lined muffin tin and bake at 400F for about 25 min.
10. Serve warm.

Thanks,

A new source for recipes is always welcomed! If I can't eat it I can read about it and search out those treasures that will help me satisfy that hunger but also keep me OP.
