Yesterday I bought Hummus at the grocery store and made a pita sandwich with it.
Two tablespoons is 1 pt. One small pita is one point. I had two pitas, one tablespoon of huumus each, stuff with lettuce tomato, cucumber and red pepper. The whole thing was 3pts and very filling. Enjoy http://www.healthdiscovery.net/ubb/biggrin.gif.

Whose hummus is only 1 pt? I love the stuff, but the best I've found is 2 Tbs = 3 pt. & the pita bread is another 2.

Safeway has Eating Right hummus that is 45 pts for a 2 Tbsp serving. It comes in plain, garlic, and roasted red pepper. Hope this helps!

Athenos Hummus, my favorite, is only 1 pt for 2 tablespoons. Such a deal!

Here is my favorite recipe:
Green Chile Hummus
2 (15 oz) cans garbanzo beans
Juice of 2 limes
1/4 c olive oil
2 (4.5 oz) cans chopped green chilies, drained
Salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste
1/2 tsp cumin
6 minced garlic cloves
Combine beans, lime juice, and oil, and process in a food processor until smooth. Or, if you're like me, and like texture in your hummus, mash beans with a potato masher, and stir in the remaining ingredients. Chill for an hour to allow flavors to make friends.
