This soup wowed my family tonite..my invention. In large pot put the following: 1 can Progresso FR. Onion soup, 1 can beef broth, 1 can drained/rinsed white beans, 1 med. caRROT diced, 1 celery stalk w/few leaves diced,& 2 sm. cans chopped mushrooms & 1/2 c. water.Bring to boil and add 1/3 c.barley. Cover and simmer about 1 hr...then stir in 1/2 can red. fat cream of mushroom soup mixed w/1/2 c. water. Let simmer about 10 more min and EAT...YUMMMY.
