EASY CHICKEN VEGETABLE SOUP
3 Cans (14 1/2 ounces each) FF Chicken Broth
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves, minced
1 drained can kernel corn
1 drained can green beans
1 can tomatoes (I chopped mine)
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 cups cubed chicken or turkey
On large saucepan mix broth, thyme, garlic powder, corn, beans, tomatoes and celery and chicken or turkey. Over medium-high heat bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 30 minutes or until veggies are tender.
I took a cup of this soup and using a hand mixer, blended the soup well. Then I poured it back into the pot. This helps to thicken the soup.
Serves 6, 3 pts each
