Apple Crisp 3 points

1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon almond extract
6 cups (4 medium) tart apples, sliced and unpeeled
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons chopped almonds
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons reduced-fat margarine

Yogurt Topping
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon sugar

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place apples in a 1 1/2 quart casserole that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Mix water and almond extract and pour over apples; toss to coat.
Mix remaining ingredients until well mixed and crumbly, then sprinkle the topping over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until top is golden brown and apples are tender. Serve warm with yogurt topping.

Yogurt Topping: mix all ingredients together.

Makes 6 servings
