View Full Version : Please help with points for this dish,Alfredo sauce

I made a sauce using a couple diffrent recipes with FF engredients and would like some help figuring the points.
It is an alfredo sauce:
1 can 14oz. FF chicken broth
1/2 cup FF cottage cheese
1/2 cup FF mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tbs cornstarch
2 tbs dry parsly

If I can get the points figured out I'll post the full recipe.

Hi, let's see if I'm any help.

ff chix broth is free
ff, 1% or 2% cottage cheese is 1 points per 1/3 cup, 3 points per cup, 1.5 points per 1/2 cup?
ff mozzarella is 1 point per 3 Tbsp shredded, 1/2 cup = 8 tbsp which would be 2.5 points
cornstarch is like flour, 8 points per cup, 1 point per 2 tbsp

5 points for the batch

Using the actual labels on your products might give you different results -- someone posted the formula of Points = (calories/50 + fat/12) - fiber/5, if that helps you any?
