What's masa harina? And where would I get this?

I'd like to make these since we can't seem to find 1 point tortilla's around here let alone 1/2 pt. ones. This could be the answer!

Hi Kaws! You can get the flour at most of the major grocery stores (Loblaws, Dominion, Highland Farms). If your local store doesn't have it, is there a specialty store near you?

Well we have Dominion and Loblaws so I'm sure I can find it and if all else fails, there's the Bulk Barn. I didn't realize it was a type of flour. Speaking of flour, I found some "soy flour" at the bulk barn last time I was there. I purchased some; just haven't used it yet. You have any experience with that?

I didn't know Masa Harina was mexican, I thought it was East Indian redface.gif , so there you go. smile.gif
I checked my local Loblaws (a small one) and they didn't have it. I knwo I saw it some where, maybe Bulk Barn. We have a huge Dominion near us, I might try for it there- they were the only ones to stock Spice Cake mix so they might have the flour.

I've never tried soy flour- I'm not sure what to do with it. I was thinking of checking the internet to see what I could make. It's supposed to be very good.

Anyone have any ideas for soy flour stuff?
