Skillet Chicken Casserole - 6 Points
Skillet Chicken Casserole
6 oz. uncooked medium egg noodles (4 cups)
1 Tb butter
3 boneless skilness chicken breast halves, cut into strips
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 10 3/4-oz. can condensed 98% ff cream of chicken soup
1 6-oz jar Green Giant sliced mushrooms - drained
1/2 cup fat-free chicken broth (ready to serve)
3/4 cup Green Giant frozen sweet peas
1. Cook noodles to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.
2. Meanwhile, in large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heaat. Add chicken; cook about 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
3. Add celery and onion; cook an additional 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
4. Stir in soup, mushrooms, broth and peas. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
5. Add cooked noodles; toss to mix well. Cook until thoroughly heated.
MAKES 5 (1 2/3 CUP) SERVINGS
