Turkey-Spinach Scramble

I just made this..it was delicious!!

Number of servings: 4 WW points: 3

From WW Simply the Best

INGREDIENTS

1 tsp. olive oil
10 oz ground skinless turkey breast
3 garlic cloves, minced
One 10-oz package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 tomatoes, chopped (or use 1 can chopped tomatoes, drained)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
4 small whole-wheat pita breads, halved
(I also added sliced mushrooms, about 4 ounces~to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil. Add the turkey and garlic; cook, stirring
constantly, until the turkey is browned, about 5 minutes. (This is when I added the mushrooms)

2. Add the spinach, tomatoes, salt and pepper; cook, stirring as needed, until the spinach is
wilted and tomatoes are softened, about 5 minutes. Spoon 1/2 cup of the turkey mixture
into each pita half.
