A good friend of mine is struggling due to her "addiction" to frappachinos. I will pass this on to her -- this may be the key to her success!

I tried this and really enjoyed it-it helps with the chocolate craving-but if you eliminated the sugar (the creamer has a lot of sugar in it)does it reduce the pts. at all? Also, I used Taster's Choice vanilla roast that added to it.

These are yummy! I used the Swiss Chocolate Flavored creamer instead of the French Vanilla and it sure takes care of that Chocolate Craving! :D

I love this treat. It has sure helped me get my milk in. I did omit the sugar, and now when I get ready to make it, I add 2 packets of splenda into the blender. Whrrrrrrr. yummy.
Also, I have been adding a little brewed coffee. Usually I have about 1/2 cup left in the pot each day, so I throw that in. very yummy.
thanks for posting this!

My downfall are cappaccinos too. I would drink about 1000 calories. I will try this one.

Hey, that sounds like a great recipe! Iced capp's are one of my fave things! I've also made a sort of iced capp by using the "blizzard" recipe that is posted farther back in time in this section. But instead of regular ice cubes, I'll freeze my leftover coffee into coffee cubes! That trick could also work in this recipe somehow if someone didn't have instant coffee.
Thanks!

My teenaged daughter loves those frozen coffee drinks, but they were so expensive and loaded with sugar and caffine. We make one with Edys light ff, sf chocolate ice cream, instand decaf coffee, skim milk, ice cubes and a shot of chocolate syrup to make it extra chocolately. She tops it with a little ff coolwhip and says it tastes as good as the ones they make at Barnies! Not sure of the points cause I don't make them for my self, but they are definately less than the coffee shop ones.
