Good morning, It's still raining here. Boy, we get a lot of rain in the spring. Thank you all for your well wishes on DH's dental procedure. I thought all was going well, but now he has had some pain the last two nights, and yesterday, during the day, as well. I hope it goes away today.

Sue: DH & I are the same way about our teeth, and we, including DS, have ours cleaned 4 times a year. Also, we all have a Braun electric toothbrush. Do you have one of these?? We are all crazy about it.

Tracey: Another phone line?? Can you handle this?

Kathy: You must be in good shape if you could do that walk on Sat. and then go to work.
Do you work 5 days a week? I have a friend who worked at Macy's, and she found it exhausting.

Amy: What a terrible time over the weekend with your DS. I'm glad it finally passed. Has he had hives before?
DS is coming home in several weeks. Yes, we are looking forward to it (laundry and all). He adds a lot of life to the house, although we have become very accustomed to and spoiled by our empty nest.

That's about it for now, folks~

Have a great day!
Hugs & hello's to all,
Dawna

Good Morning to all,

The weather is very cold but I am planning on walking with my colleague from Lawrence U as she had to cancel last week. She has been very interested in me and my weight over the years as she is a recovering overeater and is a member of Overeaters Anonymous. Her husband is a recovering alcoholic and I went through some very stressful times with her. She is a perfectionist in all that she does and is a brilliant computer programmer among other talents. I'd be happy to go for a light lunch, but she needs routine exercise for her depression.

Our younger DS had his review at work yesterday. He got the highest report and will probably get a promotion. I'm happy for him, but as I've mentioned previously, I worry about him as his job as a Child Advocate/Guardian takes him to some pretty bad neighborhoods and would like him to limit his time at the job. He will be fishing with DH this weekend (as well as the third weekend) and I hope they can have some private time to talk.

DH and I bought a new TV yesterday. We have a very small den where we watch TV, so we opted for an LCD HDTV. Our old TV is over 20 years old and needed replacing. They are coming to install is as well as our cable box, other stuff on Thursday. So while DH is beginning his three weekends of fishing, I'll play with the TV while I catch up on my knitting and reading.

Dawna - I have an inexpensive electric toothbrush, but forget to use it. I'll try to remember as it does work well. Our younger DS still has his teeth cleaned when he comes to Appleton, but not as routinely as he should. The other kids take care of their own and I think they are pretty good. After all the money we spent on braces they should take care of their teeth. Do you have your computer upstairs as I do? I suppose I could bring my coffee up here in the morning, but I don't. Having my office away from the kitchen has helped me avoid the fridge this past year.

Tracey - I take pilates this morning. I have to admit that my practice was pretty lame this week. I hope the class is very small (2 of us) as it has been, so we can review and learn more. It sounds like you have lots of responsibilities at work. I hope your weather improves. This hasn't been a wonderful spring.

Amy - It sounds like you had a stressful weekend with DS. It's so sad when they are sick. I loved being a mom (now a grandmom) and you sound like me. It is the most wonderful (and hardest)job in the world.

Kathy - I don't do well in the heat. You must be in great shape to walk in the heat. I hope you don't have any fires in your area.

Have a great day buddies. I hear my coffee calling too.

Hugs,
SUe
