Good morning, We finally have some decent weather, after rain every day for the past week.

Sue: Any news from Steve? I'm really worried about him.

Amy: Today's the day!

Tracey: We don't get involved in any tax work at all..thank goodness! You would be welcome on our beach anytime and not just for cleaning!

Kathy: Ditto for you & all the other buddies here. Wish you all lived around the corner. You could join me in summer boating & swimming.

Sheryl: Horseshoes! Good for you! Now, that's got to be some decent exercise, eh?

We heard from DS last evening. He sounds good. No mention of sleep problems or school problems, and we're not asking.

Definitely time for coffee, so I'll say

Hugs & hello's to all,
Dawna

Good Morning Buddies,

No, I haven't heard from Steve. If I can find his Florida phone number and his cell phone, I'm going to try to call him this weekend. The last time I heard from him was Feb. 16th. Buddies, you will be the first to know if I can reach him.

Our weather was great yesterday. I took a wonderful walk that takes me through four parks along the river. We had part of our yard reseeded yesterday, so we want a very soft rain each day for the next couple of weeks ;) Actually, I'll create the soft rain when the weather doesn't cooperate.

Dawna - Do you live on the ocean or an inland lake? Our house is on the river, but we can't get down to the river from our house (DDog did once and it was very scary) and even if we could, closed locks on the river makes it impossible to go too far. We are working on getting the locks open and that would be a very good thing. We could have a sleepover at your house in exchange for a little beach cleanup. Great news about DS.

Amy - Just a couple of hours!

Tracey - DH woke up in Tax mode this morning (about 4am). He didn't have to get extensions for any of his clients (our DS in Minneapolis was the closest).

Kathy - Now we hope our weather can be compared to yours.

Sheryl - Wasn't yesterday awesome? You live a fun sports life.

Time for my coffee (just one cup) then aerobics.

Hugs,
Sue

Good morning friends graemlins/wave.gif

Popping in for a quick hello. Came in to work extra early today - heck I was up anyway, hopefully I'll be able to duck out around noon. We're in for another fine spring day. I'm very fortunate to have such a flexible job. As long as I get my work done the hours are pretty much of my choosing. I usually work Mon, Wed, & Fri between 4 and 6 hours per day.

Dawna.. horseshoes probably doesn't provide a whole lot of exercise but it's great fun. I would call it a social sport - like bowling.

Sue.. I do like my sports. Contemplating playing softball on Monday evenings through the summer. Think I'm leaning toward not playing tho. Horseshoes is on tuesday and my large garden and yard tend to keep me plenty busy.

Wishing one and all a relaxing, op weekend graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

Good Morning Buddies, graemlins/wave.gif

I sure hope that we have exchanged weather patterns. The winds and clouds have hit. We are expecting rain for today and maybe tomorrow. I hope that the sun shines for all of you in the east. I'm running late for getting ready for work so this will be short.

Amy... I can't wait until I come home from work later to see your news. I sure hope that your appointment goes well.

Sue... Tracey and I both have Steves snail mail address and are sending out a note to check on him as well.

Have wonderful day buddies. :D

Good morning buddies & dear friends! :D

I'm getting here a little later than usual because it appears my fax machine had a minor meltdown during the night. Ever since we took on that new school district as a client we've doubled our incoming faxes. Needless to say, I think the poor fax machine is rebelling! LOL Anyway, to make a long story short, I've been on the phone all morning talking to our local telephone company to get another line added to our system (we already have 3). That would free up one of our lines for just fax and DSL use. I'm hoping that will reduce some of the incoming calls I get (fingers crossed!) and will allow for more freedom for the fax machine since it won't be shared with incoming telephone calls. Now I have to go shopping for a new fax machine--that should be kind of fun, though, huh? tongue.gif You know, spending someone else's money! I guess my explanation turned into a long story, didn't it??! Sorry!!

Now I don't have time to post personals, but I'll try to make it back. If I don't, I hope all my buddies have beautiful, sunny, restful weekends!! It's absolutely gorgeous here today! Enjoy life buddies & stay safe! graemlins/kiss.gif

Hi buddies! graemlins/wave.gif Well, we're back from the ultrasound. Everything is looking very healthy as far as the baby is concerned, thank goodness! The only thing they want to keep an eye on is the fact that my placenta is laying a bit low, but that usually corrects itself as time goes on.

So anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting my little daughter in about 5 months! :D :D :D

Yep, it's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!! DH and I are very excited, although we would have been just as happy with another little boy. The ultrasound technician said she's 95% sure it's a girl, and the picture we saw looks extremely convincing. smile.gif

Now we're all going to go enjoy this gorgeous day since DH took today off. Catch you all later!!

Congrats to you Amy and your DH. Thanks so much for sharing with your buddies.

Hugs,

Sue

P.S. I just left a message on Steve's Florida answering machine. I thought I had his cellphone number, but I can't find it. I told him that we were worried and told him to call or write. That's it.

Amy! What wonderful news!! I was thinking of you today, but couldn't get back to the computer until just now.

You know, for some reason, I felt pretty sure it was a girl. I have no idea why..

Congratulations!! graemlins/kiss.gif

Hugs,
Dawna

Sue, With all the excitement over Amy, I forgot to answer your question about where we live.

I live about 45 mins. out of Boston on something called the North Shore. We live on the end of an 80' drop close to the water's edge in a beautiful 10 room house. We have 90' of water frontage, with a large gangplank and dock going into deep water so we can dock our boat, and steps going down to our private beach. We have spectacular water views from all but the computer room & laundry room.
Only one other family has lived in our house, and it was a very hard house to get. Houses/land in this area are rarely available, and this one is a beauty. We were very lucky.
I grew up on something called the South Shore (near Cape Cod) on the opposite side of Boston, so I have almost always lived by the water, and am an avid swimmer/boater.

Well, that's really it for now...I'm bushed!

Goodnight~

Wow am I late to this celebration. Amy that's wonderful news. I bet you are glowing more than you were before. You DS will have a baby sister. I'm sure he will be the best BB. I used to wish that my DS came first. But I finally figured out that God has his plan and it was meant to be this way. My prayers and best wishes to you and your DH. :D
