Good morning, dear friends, We finally heard from DS last evening. He sounded miserable and refused to talk about anything college-related. I kept trying to lighten things up a bit, but no dice. We don't know what will happen now. Thanks, buddies, for all your prayers & concern. Please keep praying for him.

Sue: Aren't dogs the best! I don't know what I would do without my pugs right now. Glad your little one got a good report at the vets.

Amy: DH says once DS takes any time off from college he will never go back, and he will be living with us forever. Pretty depressing, eh?

Sheryl: How was the shopping yesterday? Did you get anything good? Any bargains? I feel a trip to Williams Sonoma coming on over the weekend.

Kathy: How are you feeling, buddy? Are you still taking the Biaxin or have you finished?

Anna: I will be praying for Lisa. Please let us know how she is doing.

I finally managed to get a good night's sleep last evening, and I feel I'm ready to tackle the work day (after coffee, of course).

Have a great day, buddies~

Hugs & hello's to all,
Dawna

OOps, I don't know why, but my reply is in web limbo. I'll try to reconstruct my reply, but I haven't had a cup of coffee yet and I have a meeting at 8am, then a trip down to Milwaukee to see A Doll's House with a friend.

Dawna - I'm very concerned for your DS. Can he come home for a little TLC this weekend? Are you comfortable with the counselor at his school? I'm not sure I agree that if DS takes a break he won't return to school. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Amy - How are you feeling? Being fit and OP has to make you feel great.

To all the rest of my buddies, Cheryl, Kathy, Anna, Tracey, Steve, have a great OP day.

Hugs,

Sue

Hello again,

Sue: I asked DS if he would like to come home for the weekend, but he declined. I suspect he has messed up on several of his classes because he wasn't sleeping, so now he has a lot of makeup to do. We have never had any trouble with him, and he's a really neat person. I hate to see him like this. DH says the problem is that he is lazy and looking for a free ride.
Thanks for your concern & thoughts, Sue. Right now we need a lot of prayers for DS.
On another note, have a wonderful day today!

(((hugs)))
Dawna

Good morning buddies. We're finally seeing the spring weather that we've been waiting for! I'm hoping we've seen the last of the temps in the 30s for several months.

DS and I spent a good bit of time outside yesterday playing and then I put him in his stroller and we walked all around the neighborhood. It felt great!

Dawna, I have known people to take time off from school and still finish, so it can be done. I hope your DS can work out whatever is bothering him -- I'm sure this is very tough on you as his mother. I'm finding out that it's very difficult to see your child hurting at all, even if it's a little scrape. ;)

Sue, I'm feeling good now that the 2nd trimester is here. I definitely think these pregnancies have been easier since I lost weight before getting pregnant. I can't imagine how tiring it would have been to be pregnant and carry around the extra weight that I had before WW.

I think DS and I are going to go to a friend's house today for a playgroup. He seems to enjoy those kinds of outings. Maybe I can get him to sleep in the car on the way home. That might be the only way I'll get a nap out of him today.

Have a great day buddies!

Good morning Dawna, Sue, Amy and all goal buddies! graemlins/wave.gif

Whew! I didn't make it here yesterday and I really shouldn't be here today either! We've been extremely busy around here and it's not even a full moon yet! LOL

Just have time for a quick graemlins/wave.gif and that you're always in my thoughts and prayers (especially your DS, Dawna--hang in there--I'm praying that the situation improves with God's grace). Take care buddies and I'll try to stop by later IF and when things aren't so graemlins/crazy.gif around here! ;)

Good Morning Buddies, graemlins/wave.gif

Do I sound happy this morning? I am. Vacation is only two days away, Dad is safely at DSisters, I was able to bring back my computer after it major crashed last night and it's beautiful outside. We will leave for vacation on Monday afternoon.

Dawna... Yep I'm doing great. Biaxin is all gone. Man that stuff works great but I wouldn't want to go through the after taste and tummy problems.
My prayers are still with you and family.

Sue... I hate it when I lose a post.

Amy... Wonderful to see you buddy. Glad that you are feeling good. Give that big boy a hug for me ok and have him give you one back too.

Tracey... Sorry that you are so busy. Me too. I have alot to do today today before work. But I'm happy to do it not stressed.

Buddies have a great safe OP day. :D

Happy Wednesday to all! We have high clouds out today, chance of rain on Friday, and then warm next week. I guess the key is to dress in layers until this sea-saw weather stops!

We had a new garage door opener installed today. Funny thing is that they put it in while I was sleeping (doing the graveyards this week) and I didn’t even hear anything or wake up! Now I can finally park my car back in the garage. Oh, it’s the little things in life . . .

DH is working 12 hours a day for the next few weeks, which means he’ll be a major grump ’cause he can never handle stress too well. I’ll be the one running the kids all over the place without any help (unless I really need it and then my friends will come to my rescue). Today we’ll be doing some clothes shopping (if this coffee ever wakes me up), and then maybe going to a local deli where they have live acoustical music on Wed. nights.

Dawna - Keep loving and supporting his decision and it will work out. I remember taking a semester off in college and it was the best thing I ever did. Sometimes we need a “time out” in life. Just think, if he doesn’t take a break he may have some sort of breakdown (not to scare you!).

Sue - Can’t wait to hear your review of “The Doll House”.

Amy - My youngest son still falls asleep in the car, and he’s 11! Then there's my oldest who NEVER slept in the car. I think the engine stimulated him even more!

Tracey - sounds like you need roller skates!

Kathy - where are you going? Who cares, as long as you don’t have to work!

I finally got that book “Schwarzbien Principal” where the author, Dr. Diane Schwarazbien, talks about the benefits of a lc diet. Should be interesting reading.
