Good morning, dear buddies, Just heard on the weather that we will be missing a blockbuster snowstorm tomorrow. Thank you~ Thank you~
We haven't had much for snow here this winter since the big storm back in December.
Anna: How about joining our little exercise group? We would love to have you! If you're interested, jog on over to "Exercise", and check out "Exercise Accountability".
Sue: Hi there, buddy~ graemlins/wave.gif Isn't it something how any different kind of change can make you feel like eating more. The same thing has happened to me when we have returned from vacation, even after I stayed OP. I hope it passes quickly for you.
Kathy: Have you ever tried Flonase for allergies? I went from medication to medication for years with very little relief from allergies, until I found Flonase. No problems since then.
Tracey: Our little pug should be completely recovered from his procedure, today. He was still a little "off" yesterday.
There is never an end to the massive amount of paperwork in a law office, eh? We have a big caseload right now, and I have been putting in a little extra time on the weekends. Actually, I had a dream last evening about working on the weekend. I already feel wiped out before the day starts!
Amy: Yes, DS always puts himself under a lot of pressure at school. He is not a partying type of kid, and even though I'm sure he has some fun from time to time, he takes college pretty seriously. Thank goodness there are only 10 weeks left, and then this year is over.
Well, that's it for now, buddies, so I'll say~
Hugs & hello's to all,
Dawna

Good Morning Buddies,
The sun is shining a second day in a row. Yeah!
Dawna - What time do you go to bed at night? I'm an early riser, but you are a very early riser. It reminds me of the early bird at restaurants (especially in Florida). My DM reports that one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Beach (where my folks spend the winter) has started an early, early bird, from 4:30 -5:30 :D Dawna, Our youngest DS sounds a lot like your DS. He is a public guardian for the City of Chicago and takes his job so seriously. I worry about him as he makes calls on clients. I promise myself not to think to much about it, but it is a stressful job.
Today is WI and I think I'll be up another pound. I promise me and all of you that I'll be OK with it. We usually go out to dinner after WW, but I'm making the beef stroganoff from the One Pot Cookbook. We aren't going out as I'm going to Minneapolis to see grandkids this weekend. My DS will be gone, so DD in-law and I will go out for a nice dinner on Saturday. We also made a dinner date when I return on Sunday and I really trying not to eat out more than once(or twice) a week.
Yes, Anna, the exercise group has lots of enthusiastic members. I just joined and I'm already wondering what I'll do tomorrow when there isn't any aerobic dancing.
Amy - I hope you are feeling well with your pregnancy. Does your DS have any idea that you are having a baby? I love babies and can't wait to see William this weekend. He is three months old already. I can't believe it.
Kathy, I hope your allergies are better. I had shots as a kid. I don't know if they did any good, but I really don't suffer from them as an adult.
Hugs to all the rest of our buddies.

Hi again, Just sitting here having my cereal & getting ready to leave.
Sue: I get up about 5:30 a.m. during the weekend. On weekends I might get up anywhere between 6 - 7:00. I don't think I have ever slept beyond 7 a.m. in my life. Actually, I hate sleep. I feel like it is a waste of my life.
Having said this, I also should tell you I am one of those incredibly lucky people who does not need much sleep. I have been this way my whole life & feel very lucky (my late mother didn't think there was anything lucky about it when I was growing up).
I go to bed anywhere between 11:30 to midnight each night, and if for some reason, I get more than 6 hours sleep, I feel ill all day.
So, there you have it! Aren't you glad you asked?
Sheryl: Sorry, I left this post out to you earlier today. In MA we have something called the "Department of Public Utilities", who are "supposed" to govern MA utility companies. I have never hesitated to contact them with my utility company problems. Sometimes, they help & sometimes, not. It might be worth a try for you to get in touch with your local, governing utilities company. Just a thought.
Time to shuffle off to Buffalo~ (this is a really old saying I got from my mother).
Hugs,
Dawna

I am so disgusted with myself. I am a leader and I know what to do. I tell others what they should be doing and I feel like a fraud, because I am not doing what I should be doing. I am picking up old habits such as eating late at night. I really should have practice the switching technique last night when I was eating spicy nachos at 11:00. I live in the midwest so it is still cold, but thats no excuse because I have exercise tapes that I have no desire to use. I will exercise at the most 2 times a week. I really need help. I am still under goal slightly, but up from my lowest weight 15 lbs. since last year. I need help.

Good morning buddies. It's a gorgeous one out there today! DS and I have nothing on our calendar today, so I think I might take him over to my mom's later to swing on her outside swing. He loves that.
Sheryl, I just went bowling last month for the first time in years. I was terrible, but it was lots of fun.
Dawna, sounds like you've raised a good kid. Does he have any kind of stress release? I know my DH goes a little stir-crazy if he can't go running. He needs that release to stay on an even keel.
Sue, are those early bird times for breakfast or dinner? I don't think DS has any idea about the baby, although I talk to him all the time about being a big brother and that mommy is going to have a baby. He's only 13 months old, so I just try to read books to him and keep mentioning it so he's not blindsided in September.
praised, what is happening in your life that has gotten you so off-track? Can you talk to another leader at your WW center?
Steve, where have you been? Are you on vacation again??
Hello to everyone else! graemlins/wave.gif

Good morning goal buddies & friends! graemlins/wave.gif
What a beautiful morning we're having here in Western Pa! graemlins/crazy.gif Gorgeous blue skies and bright sunshine! Love it! :D
Dawna, glad your little "baby" made it through the procedure yesterday. ;) And, yes, the flurry of paperwork--I always say we need to quit sacrificing so many trees for all the voluminous (and sometimes unnecessary--don't tell the lawyers I said that! LOL) documents we create--surely we can cut back, eh?! I haven't worked weekends in a long, long time--didn't like it, but had to do it. After 25 years here I very seldom have to put in much overtime--like I said before, I'm spoiled... tongue.gif
Sue, maybe you'll be surprised when you go WI--you know it's when I think I'll be okay that I'm up and when I think I'll be up, that I'm down--did I just completely and utterly confuse you?! I think you know what I mean--don't stress over 1#--it's probably just water weight. Good luck anyway!
Praised, I agree with Amy--can you put your finger on what's gotten you off-track? Maybe we could help (if you feel comfortable enough) to fill us in on what's going on with you. Hang in there--we've all been there! Maintaining is MUCH HARDER than losing.
Amy, enjoy that swing at your mom's house today--looks like it's going to be a nice day! Your DH sounds like me--I go stir crazy if I don't get my workout in. Thankfully, my knees have been pretty good since I started taking glucosamine, but I keep thinking "how long will this last?" Hopefully my body agrees with me and stays healthy for a long time because I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't exercise!
Kathy, how's the allergies today? Hopefully better. Take care good buddy and enjoy your day!
Hugs and hello's and prayers to everybuddy else who stops by today--make it a good one! graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

Good Morning Buddies, graemlins/wave.gif
I'm here this morning feeling worse than yesterday. I'm really hoping that I have a repeat of three weeks ago. I felt this way on Wednesday and on Thursday it was almost gone. My boss returns from her 19 days off today so I'm not going to stay home. I might become a unemployed well/sick person tomorrow. Just kidding she's a great boss. It's a beautiful day again today. I'm going to make an appointment with my Dr. to check out this thing that's going on. Thanks everyone for your well wishes.
Dawna... Your DS sounds like a model student and DS. I'm praying he get through this period of time. Funny how everyone is different. When I was younger and had to get up really early I needed at least 4-5 hrs of sleep, If I got 6-7 I was shot(no good for the day) , 8 was ideal.
Amy... I bet when you start to show good and DS gets a little older he will understand a bit more. Have you heard that old myth that the second one will be just opposite from the first. i guess that could be good and bad.
Sue... I had bad allergies as a kid and had to take alot of meds. I moved out of the valley of CA and they went away. I'm hoping that they didn't return. :( I've been back in the valley for almost 30 years.
Tracey... When will you pull your baby out of the garage???? DS just came home from work and blocked my drive way. When I asked why he said you work late today and I wanted to wash my truck. My answer GGGGOOOODDD when you are finished wash my car. That was on my list of to do before work.
Steve... I'm with Amy where ya been?
Have a wonderful day buddies. :D

Good Afternoon Buddies,
I'm glad to see an active board. Steve is in Florida. Lucky guy, and the weather looks awesome. Hi Steve, if you get a chance to post.
I need 8 + hours of sleep. I am so jealous of you Dawna graemlins/crazy.gif I didn't sleep well last night and today I'm less than perfect. I am better now that I had a massage. I had never had one until last October when a very good friend gave me one. I'm hooked. Once a month or 6 weeks. I'm also going to take an introduction to Pilates given by a physical therapist at the clinic where I get my massage. It will look better on my exercise chart on Dawna's accountability board ;)
My DH called and said he like to take me out to dinner after WW. Earlier today (or yesterday) I wrote that I was making Beef Stroganoff from WW In One Pot...well, I'll make it tomorrow :D
Have a great afternoon and evening. Time for the garbage and a very short walk with old dog.
Hugs,
Sue
