Good Friday morning, buddies, Thank you for all the replies regarding our little group here. I guess it makes sense to keep it going. Like others, I am open to a name change though?

I am running terribly late this morning. I feel badly about cutting this short, but I have to say,

Hugs & hello's to all,
Dawna

TGIF! So glad the weekend is here, and I don't have to go into work!

I've been adding a few points to my daily total for the past 2 weeks, and I'm still maintaining! This is such a relief, because when I did this before I gained a few pounds. Nothing to get excited over, but I didn't want to see that scale going in the wrong direction.

I've also been trying to add fats to my diet, because my intake is way below what it should be. I think this is why I'm so hungry in the afternoons - my body needs those good oils or it starts to rebel!

When I was eating my lunch during my son's field trip yesterday there were several moms (and dads) ooing and ahing over my lunch (tuna salad, lf tortillas, homemade flax cereal w/apple). It's amazing how lazy people are when they make their lunches. They want everything packaged and convenient. If you want to live a healthy life, you have to put the effort out, be it exercising or cooking!

I'm off to work - everyone have a great day!

Good Morning Buddies,

I too overslept this morning and will make this short before heading off to aerobics. My driving buddy just called to say she wasn't going this morning as the weather is very nasty, but I'm going. While in Florida, I did some form of exercise almost every day, but I missed last Saturday and Sunday while we were driving and Monday dealing with the various challenges I found upon coming home.

Anna - Good job with your lunch. You planned and it worked.

Dawna - I'm glad that the group wants to continue.

To all the rest of the buddies who posted yesterday, thanks a bunch.

Have a great OP day.

Hugs,
SUe

P.S. I'll try to post again this afternoon as I have more to say but need a cup of coffee before I leave. graemlins/wave.gif

Good Morning Buddies,

Missed a couple days here - but SO GLAD everyone replied to Dawna's post. I too need this thread, and it is only one of the very few I currently post on! Name change is fine.. but don't close up! graemlins/bcbsalute.gif

Tracey, I am SO SORRY to hear about your friends son. We had a family last year that lost their 18 year old (on his 18th birthday) in a car accident. I could only imagine their pain...

Did I report that I am down another pound? 133! yippee, but this is it. I am adding a couple points to stay where I am... I always get nervous in doing this!

Hello Anna, Sue, Kathy, Carol, Cheryl, Amy and all you other Goal Buddies!

Hi buddies! graemlins/wave.gif Well, I think DS and I are on the mend. He seems to be feeling better this morning and I'm also feeling a little more human. smile.gif I think it helps that he got a good night's sleep last night.

Dawna, I like the name of our thread. It says that whether you're over goal or under, you're welcome here!

Anna, your lunch sounds great! I recently heard some warning about tuna during pregnancy, which is a shame because I've been craving it lately. Have a great day at work!

Sue, good to see that you made it home safely! Good for you, going to aerobics in nasty weather! graemlins/thumbup.gif

Denise, congrats on the loss! I was also nervous to start adding points back in when I got to my goal. I thought for sure my weight would balloon back up overnight. tongue.gif

Steve, Tracey, Kathy, Cathy, Cheryl, Lainie, Heidi, Nancy, Marie, Kat, Barb...have a great day!

Well I'm home today with a strep throat. :( I've been having a hard time eating all week. I think I've "souped" myself to death.

Ever try a Broccoli Smoothie? Hopefully the meds will kick in and life will return to normal. graemlins/wave.gif

Good Morning Goal Friends, graemlins/wave.gif

I'm on the run again this morning. :( We have a early meeting at work. I wanted to share that I read a thread (in the daliy) last night that Momma25 (Vickilynn) has taken a turn for the worse and want to ask for prayers for her and her family.

Tracey... I'm still with you buddy. Praying that you found the words to comfort your friend. I'm sure you did. Continued prayer for everyone.

Dawna... Thank you for having a change of heart. We need you and our daily.

Denise... Woo Hoo on the loss. I hope it's me next week.

Anna... Isn't it strange. I usually take a simple soup (homemade) or salad and my coworkers ohh and ahhh over it while they walk to the mall for a burger or put their money in the vending machine for a quick meal. It really only takes a short time if you plan.

Sue... Wonderful job.

Amy... Glad to hear that you are feeling better. It was good to see your post yesterday. I was wondering about you.

Have a great op day everybuddy. :D

Good morning goal buddies & friends,

What a wonderful group we have here, eh? smile.gif Checking in on my buds is such a great way to start my day! ;) And it's really nice to see so many of you here today! Unfortunately, I don't have time for personals right now--I'll try to make it back later today. In the meantime, hope you all have a wonderful OP Friday!

Hugs, hello's and prayers to all of you! Take care buddies! graemlins/bcbsalute.gif graemlins/kiss.gif

Brocolli smoothie?..eeewwww tongue.gif Think I'll stick with stemead and icbinb spray smile.gif

Cold and rainy here, and snow showers predicted for the weekend. I won't notice the weather much as I'll be spending a good deal of the weekend in a bowling alley. My bowling team is bowling in the Wisconsin state bowling tournament this weekend, always a good time with good friends. Staying overnight in a nice hotel with a decent pool too.

I know I'll have to be a bit careful with the beers as after having a few it's very easy to lose my discipline and splurge on high point munchies. Perhaps a bit of mental rehearsing is in order.

Anyway, hope all of us have great weekends in our own little corners of the universe :D

Good Evening Buddies,

After a long day of meetings (I love not working, but non-profit work can consume lots of time) I am at home alone, as my DH went to Green Bay to a fishing show. He loves to fish, and although this is NOT a wonderful show, he has to attend. ;)

Today's weather wasn't very nice, but the rain/sleet has stopped and the roads are fine. We had an easy dinner. DH said he'd take me out, but we have dinner out tomorrow and we have the best luck staying OP if we eat in.

I do like our thread name. I only suggested a different name when I thought we wouldn't have keepers with this one.

Amy, you are going to keep moving with two babies so close together. As you know, I do love babies and would love to help ;) DD and her son Peter visited for over a week in Florida. Fun, fun.

I am planning on driving to Minneapolis next weekend to see baby William who turns 3 months on March 10th. I saw him twice in Florida and he is a dear...a very polite baby. He was so big at birth, and has been very mellow. Bring on more babies.

To all...yes, this is a wonderful group. I know I need it. This was a challenging week for me. I am going to post on the exercise board starting next week as when I am in Wisconsin during the winter outdoor exercise is not easy. Hey, BEARS, where in Wisconsin do you live?

Good night all. I have the video
THE HOURS to occupy my time until bed. Talk to you all tomorrow.
