Hi everybuddy:
I just wanted to get my 2 cents worth in here today. I would consider myself an exercise fanantic - I LOVE IT! Any kind at all.
I've been extremely busy with life lately and haven't found too much time to get in a good workout so I purchased the Walk Away The Pounds Express 3 mile DVD. I got up this morning at 4:45am and put that little baby in the player and did it.
I was skeptical at first because I figured that it wouldn't be much of a workout, BUT I was wrong......it's a great workout, but like all exercise you get out of it what you put into it. I finished and was sweating. In fact, I can feel it in my legs today as I walk around at work.
It's a great purchase!

Hi Buddies,
I just want to put my 2-cents in too.
I have been using WATP tapes since 1992. I actually wore my first one out and was unable to find anymore until about two years ago. I have the Express 1-2-3-4 Mile, as well as the Walk Strong and 2-3Mile where they use the weighted balls. These workouts absolutely work and I think that everyone can probably do them. My mother who is 57 is doing the two mile and she has not exercised for probably 30 years. She loves them. Not only do they help my legs and the rest of my body they really help my mood, try them out.
I totally agree with Marcia, they are a great purchase.
Have a great OP and OE Day, graemlins/thumbup.gif

I love the WATP tapes too. Just finished one a few minutes ago. I have been doing them a while, but I still don't know how many points each tape is worth. I have the 1, 2, 3, 4 mile with wghted balls, express, and ab burner. I usually only do the 1 or 2 mile (since I have fallen off the wagon) and I count them as 2 points since they are 20-30 minutes. Is there a way to find out exactly?
Thanks so much

Hi Gonnaloseweight, graemlins/wave.gif
I count the 1 mile as light-moderate activity depending on how much a give it. The 2-3 and 4 mile I count as moderate-high intensity, again depending on how much effort I put in. Depending on your CW use your activity points finder to find out just where your AP's will fall.
If you need help with that please resond back and I will be happy to figure it out for you. smile.gif
Have a great OP day, graemlins/bcbsalute.gif
I need to get my workout in yet,

I personally count all WATP tapes as moderate activity, since I do put my most into them. The difference in points based on using it as moderate then depends on your current weight & the time that you worked out.
So I get 1 pt. for the 1 mile & 2 mile tape, & 2 pts. for the 3 mile one. I don't have a 4 mile one but would get 3 pts. for that.
I never count WATP, or any of my aerobic workouts, including my step, as high intensity. I've always read that high intensity is really for constant running (not jogging) or training like for a triathlon, etc. However, the best way to figure intensity is by using a heart monitor, since we're all different.
gonnaloseweight, I couldn't tell from your sig line how much you currently weigh, but here's a Desktop Points calculator you can download to figure out your AP's:

Which setting should the downloadable point calc be set on for the flex point program?

This calculator has been out for a long time, before flex points was around. I had never checked the options until I saw this question. I think points are still figured out the same way. The ratio of calories versus fat plus fiber is still the same as it was before (the Winning Points way caps fiber at 4 automatically on the calculator no matter how much over 4 it is--I don't believe 123 did that).
The few points differences since FP came along were only on a few items such as carrots & (I think) tomatoes no longer being free (0 pts.), & a few other items that I don't worry about. I don't usually go by just a pre-figured points list, I always figure it out based on how much I'm having of something.
So just leave the calculator at Winning Points.
