Please explain them to me, if possible. Thanks.

I walk 30 - 60 minutes a day pushing a double stroller at a medium pace. I am not "strolling along" but I am not close to a jog either.

Thanks!!

Hi!
Welcome to BCB!!!!
When I first joined WW I had the same problem figuring things out. I posted the same question and Tall Cool One gave me a great answer. Here's the link: Need Help Calculating APs. (http://www.healthdiscovery.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=19;t=003019)
Hope this helps!

And here's a free Desktop Point Calculator that does food points plus AP's:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/weightwatchers123recipes/

Go to the above link & join for free. Then come back to the same link & to the left you'll see the Files link. Click on that & find the desktop calculator plus it has excel spreadsheets & recipes.

BCB friends,
I worked out Mon - Fri last week for 30 minutes each day. Now, I am worried, cause I go to get
WI tonight and I ate a little extra something on Sat and Sun. How badly did I wreck my week? I am so scared right now. I did great all week and then Saturday, I had for breakfast a nectarine and lunch was 2 chicken burgers (no bread) and
a Tblspn of Mac salad and Diet Ice tea, Dinner was a cup of Baked Ziti (made with part skin Mozz and Part Skim Ricotta) and 2 small meatballs and Diet Ice tea. Then the killer, I had one small
pastry. Just need some feedback from someone on what to expect. I am sick to my stomach. Then Sunday, I had a banana for breakfast and then lunch was 2 oz of shrimp (boiled) with 1 Tblspn of cocktail sauce, snack: Smart Ones 2 pt Cone, and dinner the leftover Ziti , one small meatball and one sparerib then 1 small pastry.
Oh, god the guilt I am feeling right now. But I also had about 28 pts that I did not use during the week !! HELP.........Someone....Anyone graemlins/sobbing.gif

JAC1, If you count the stuff you think was "off program" against the 28 points you didn't use and the APs you didn't even calculate, you may find your problem isn't that you're over eating. In fact you may be under-eating. It sounds like you are working the program at minimum points every day. While you are OP, you would still be OP if you ate all your points, and you might feel better. The program is designed so you can work in a pastry from time to time!

For me in a situation like yours, nothing counters fear like information. You would probably do well to work out the points for everything you ate and see where you stand; only you know how much you ate over the whole week. It sounds like you are well within program limits and therefore you are wasting perfectly good energy on guilt!

Nancy,
Thanks for the response. I looked into my welcome book and I don't know how to count the points of a pastry! They were the mini ones that are made.
I didn't see a listing in the book. Maybe there is a book I can purchase that will tell me all this information when needed. I certainly don't like guessing and I will take your advice and count what I ate all week and then figure it out from there. I go for WI tonight but will try not to be upset no matter the outcome cause I am already back OP today. Thanks. You just made me feel better. graemlins/wave.gif

JAC1, see if you can compare them to something you know about. For example a donut is 6 pt., a slice of pie (1/8 pie) is 8-9 pt., are these bigger or smaller than your pastry? Learning educated guessing is part of the program -- you do the best you can, if you miss by a point or so now and again it won't kill your program.

There are a couple companion books that go with the program, but if you are looking at homemade goodies you might still have to guesstimate.
