Hi single buddies,
I thought I'd share a success story.
I did the ww journey and got to goal. Along the way, met another ww single who walked me through the internet dating world. We did it together, comparing notes and cheering each other on.
I worked at internet dating as hard as I've ever worked at getting a job. For two years I probably averaged close to an hour a day doing something and I had a myriad of dates. Generally, I had a good time, often doing active things I might not otherwise have tried.
Some of the sites I used included kiss.com, emode.com, match.com, matchmaker, com, yahoo.com eharmony, com, Christiancafe.com and concernedsingles.com I tried a dating service, went to singles dances and participated in AMC outdoor events that catered to singles.
I found that staying on a website for a month and then changing seemed to produce the most interest, even though it was a bit more expensive that way. I then would use one site a month and rotate through them.
Anyway, the punch line is that FINALLY, I've found my special someone. I didn't believe in chemistry until I met him. Our first date was windsurfing!! We've been together a little more than six months now and are planning to move in together by summer time.
Now the bad news/good news is that I have slipped in my eating along the way. I had put so much into this basket that getting my dream messed me up -- but I am now recommitting to my bootcamp ways. This is the way to go.
Good luck
