Seeing as us singles are supposed to have HEAPS of spare time on our hands, what are your hobbies?
Sadly, I myself don't have any! Yes, that's right, nothing! I do read occasionally, but at the moment between work & study I haven't got much time for anything else.
I used to do cross stitch, but haven't had time lately, and to be honest, after staring at a computer all day at work, coming home and studying on the computer here, I don't think my poor eyes could stand it!

Alleycat, you don't mention your age, but what I did for a hobby when I was in my 20's thru 40's was bellydance. It was great exercise and the costumes make you feel so sexy. You meet alot of men and go to alot of parties. I always kept my fees low so I always was in demand. I loved to dance and be at the parties. You could think of things like that, or maybe some hiking clubs nearby...it sounds like you need to get up and move because you work and study so much...you need to do something fun that does not require alot of focus. How about bowing or tennis? If you found something you really liked, you would make time for it. My dancing kept me in shape. When I stopped it about 5 years ago, I gained 25 lbs slowly...it took 5 years to put the pounds on...but I am so sorry I gave it up. I am looking at country line dancing and hawaiian dancing coming up in the community service schools in Sept. Hope this helps.

I enjoy reading and cooking. I also work and go to school. You could try setting aside some time for the things you enjoy doing.

Hey ladies. I do exercise, I go to the gym weekdays and walk weekends. For some reason, I don't consider this a "hobby". I enjoy doing it, but that's my exercise, not a hobby! Make sense? Just my mentality I guess!
Bellydancing! Wow! That sounds great fun! I'm going to do some searching of the local paper to get some ideas because I do need something for relaxation and also to meet some people and make some friends.
I've only been living here for 3 months, so friends are still something I'm trying to get!

Hobbies...hmmmm. Animals (owning, learning about), anything re: flora and fauna, gardening, finding new points-friendly foods via the 'net or in stores, karate, crossword puzzles, travel, art, singing, word games, learning about nutrition.

My hobbies are reading, travel, playing guitar. I am obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I don't think that counts as a hobby. I like to write, too. I enjoy doing the puzzles in the back of Atlantic and Harpers.

My main hobby is aviation, but presently I am focused on my new hobby....losing weight. Yup, I treat WW as a hobby and it's fun. Filling out my meal/points charts, plotting my weight loss, plotting my inches lost, and planning for the next week is all fun right now and I sure hope I don't lose my enthusiasm for it. It helps me in my main hobby by making me fit to pass the flight physical every year.

I'm with you, Lumpy, as WW as a hobby. I like figuring my average weight loss, figuring and refiguring how long till goal, etc. It IS fun!

I hike a lot - even got a gig writing a hiking book. And I seem to be a class junky. Like I'll take a 3 hour jewelry class or a morning class on lavender or a park & rec ceramics class...That takes up a lot of time.

Searching for the 3 day a week job, would be so great. I think about it all the time so it's like a hobby - lol.
Reading - all the time.
Talking on my computer, i.e. chat - some times.
Walking - all the time.
Following the investment news in the Globe and Mail and on line - all the time.
Writing in my personal journal - all the time. Would love to "write" a story/articles, etc. and get them published for money.
