Hi out there.
This week we will be travelling up to the majestic Lake Louise area for some skiing. We fly into Calgary International and will be driving up to Lake Louise. We need to procure some food for the condo and I would love to find out any good groceries where I can get some point friendly foods en route. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

I am so excited! The last time I went skiing I was over 40 pounds heavier -- last time in Banff -- it was closer to 75 pounds heavier! This year I conquer the mountain ;)

Thanks in Advance

Hi; Hope you enjoy your ski trip. I am not from Calgary, (I am from Edmonton area)hopefully a Calgarain will see your post and be able to direct you better, but I do recommend you stop for groceries in CALGARY prior to leaving for Lake Lousie. The prices are quite expensive in Banff and surrounding areas.

And my.....40 pounds lighter graemlins/bcbsalute.gif you should just fly down those slopes!!! Have lots of fun.

Are you going to have a car? There are several grocery stores right onteh road through Calgary that you will take to Banff (16 Ave/Hwy 1). Just after the Bowness Road Exit there is a Safeway on teh right hand side of the road. After that there isn't much else. Need more info? Lat me know I can probably help!

FYI, there are 2 buddies that post over on the Fit & Sexy 50's & 60's forum that live in Calgary. Shelac and Kittycat - they might help you via a PM. Good luck! graemlins/wave.gif
